Lunch Hour
Just after lunch, my colleagues and I were at Caltex House. Volvo was showcasing its new C70 coupe. The place was filled with people. Many were queuing for free coffee. I thought I saw a Polo Black counter and was walking towards it. I was walking past this person who was giving out free gifts.Suddenly, the camera man pointed at me and said to host, "Get him." He turned to look at me, "Is it okay if you would answer one simple question?"
I was asked, "Is it true that Kenneth Cole Signature perfume is the longest-lasting.....?"
Sheesh... obviously I said yea, and I got a free miniature.
A bloody nerd got a Timex free. Should have seen how he posed for the camera. Totally miserable. Ok, I'm sore I didn't get the Timex.
Oh, and the 'host' happened to be the guy from Light Years. I know Sop drools over him.
Health Pr0m0 B0ard was giving out free guo teis, served by a Chinese restaurant. Super good. So good I had 2 servings. Heh.
Most of us are sleepy after lunch, so here's a short story to cheer you up. Have a good afternoon.
