R@nd0m

My com's up and running.

Thus the random pic. Taken on WK's bd celebration.

@ one of my customers' c0nd0.

@ Tampines.

I have survived the past 6 months. I had my Phuket and Bangkok trip and my occassional weekend break. The rest of my time was spent working.

I'm thinking of planning 3 more trips this year.

Phuket in Aug.

Bangkok in Oct.

And Bali in Dec.

I really need a break. P.S. another random pic.

Actually, I shouldn't complain. I had my first off day of the year today.

It was spent at Pearly's condo.

And the rest of the afternoon at Vivo.

And the rest of the evening at MS and 5ingap0re Flyer.

It felt good not having to rush.

Another random thought: caught Wanted today. Yeah, lots of action but too exaggerated.

As always, Angelina is hot.

And seeing her makes me want to ink myself.

But then again, I wouldn't want to risk having any regrets.

Anyway... there is this new c0ffee sh0p set up nearby my br@nch. It was much welcomed, cus of Ast0ns. One of its staff, an elderly man, was recently made a role model for us all. His commitment to service quality is unbelieveable.

Last night, Mark and I made small talk with one of the shareholders of the coffee shop - a 25yr old guy. He shared his life story and it inspired us to strive for better things in life.

I don't even earn wad this Sec 3 'graduate' is having.

Driving a 5 series.

Pocketing 20k each month.

Haiz... nvm. I'm half way there.

Work Again

M@rk has been with us for less than a month.

But he's already learning the ropes well.

On how to speak to cust0mers, filling up f0rms, the different styles of presentations on different types of customers.

And he's also influenced that passive income is one of the best way to fill your wallet. I taught him how to plan for his retirement by investing regularly. Next step would be to set up a margin tr@ding a/c. We have been discussing how we could go about acquiring properties.

One of the job duties we have is to make calls to build up our customer base. But we have a rule - to stop at 9pm.

While I was doing some shopping this evening, 2 smses came at 930pm. A reminder by 177indef on my c@ll-up at the end of Jul.

It fucking spoilt my whole evening.

Happy?

Weekend

Friday evening.

Had whiskey at Cosy before suppering at 0rchid C0untry Club. We bought Ch0ng Pang nasi lemak to our rooms, watched abit of TV, drank some Baileys before we hit the sack.

Within a few hours later, I was back to work. Once the br@nch closed, I went to 0rchard to tail0r my uniform. I went back to Orchid with M0S Burger. I rested for awhile before the rest decided to go for a little swim.

The sun was good. I watched planes flew by and instead of thinking "Ah... this is life.", I immediately tot of going back camp in 5 weeks' time. Fuck.

After our bath, we had McDonald's, played a round of MJ and had our Baileys. When Sharon & her family arrived, I was too shagged and went back to sleep.

I woke up to a Sunday morning with more Baileys and ice wine.

I'm now planning to go to a beach trip alone in Aug. Right after the annoying re5ervist c@ll-up.

0il

An necessary evil.

Before my appt. at N0rthP0int, I had my Ch0ng Pang nasi lemak. The same st0re I visited during the N5 days. But frankly, it brings back b0ring mem0ries. And it pains both my heart AND wallet when I have to go back in Jul/Aug for 2 weeks.

After the appt, I was contemplating on visiting our 'neighbour'. The thought of being stuck in the horrible jam put me off. I decided to go to the SPC station nearest my place.

They had this promo "Spend $50 and above and get a car wash at $3 only". So I went ahead to pump $60.

Fuck. It was less than half filled.

I went for the car wash. 2 men helped to clean, while I was forced to sit in the car to wait. At the place where I had my regular wash, I would simply throw the key to the guy and go off to fetch my dinner.

After a super brief wash, a woman came over to wipe it dry. It wasn't dried. Moist would be the correct/appropriate word.

No vaccum.

No interior cleaning.

No tire shining.

No smile from that woman. Not even the slightest hint of friendliness.

That reminds me why everyone prefers our 'neighbour'.

I'm Feeling Stressed!!!

Den again, who doesn't?

I enjoy what I'm doing. I may not have as much cust0mer base as those in 'hood branches, but I def. have quality ones.

The l@unch of pr3f sh@res left us high and dry. The placement am0unt was huge, but we stayed in office till 3am and got back to work at 7. What killed me was the after-effects feeling.

Food and drinks, and shopping helped alot.

B0ss brought the 20ish of us to a Japanese restaurant at King's Center on a Friday. Food was aplenty, but the company made it all good.

Some of us adjourned to one of my cust0mers' restaurant at r0chester park for drinks.

Saturday was accompanied with wine at Vino Vino's with Gerrie.

Over the week, spent a couple of hundreds on my Calvins. Got a UCB polo and a Ted Baker belt.

Gosh, and I'm still feeling stressed out.

Life

I think my com is infected.

Badly.

Either that, or my net connection sucks.

I have been feeling very drained out. Especially with the after-effects from the pref. sh@res. I have gathered some of my cust0mers a week bef0re the launch, and on the first day, had them signed up. My t3llers would then assist me in placing the tim3 dep0sits. We concluded M0nday at 3am and was back to work at 7am.

The rest of the week went by with a blur.

I have also made a personal promise not to touch beer. At least for a very very long time. We had 2 drinking sessions last week, with just whiskey. Drinks seem to have a calming effect. In fact, I spent my weekend at home with Baileys and red french Bart0n & Guestier merlot.

I have sleeping disorder. I sleep at 2am and would be awake by 6ish, leaving me high and dry during office hour. Cuppas of teh and coffee doesn't seem to have much effect.

My left foot is giving me problems. I have turned to massage to ease the pain. Once a week would do the trick, I guess.

Other than that, life's good.

At least, I got a new tie from Boss. Courtesy of Gerrie.

I need my sleep. Nights.
