No More Privacy

I have been complimented for my svc rendered. And in such moments, there's a tinge of pride.

This morning, it was announced that the c0mpany's 0fficial mag is lking for bachel0rs & bachel0rettes. I was voted to represent the branch and had to answer the following questions.

Name:
Fe1ix W@ng

Designation:
PFC

Interests:
Reading, movies and roller-blading

What you are looking for in your future partner?
Someone who shares the common goal in life.

Creative qn: If you are a dessert, what would you be, and why?
The ideal repast would be a slice of Le Royale cake, accompanied by a cup of Earl Grey from Canelé Pâtisserie Chocolaterie.
Intense and tantalizing. The aroma of the Earl Grey is heavenly. =)

I hate such questionaires.

Haiz... what bachelor?

My family is back this morning from Capetown.

I lost my privacy.

Tuesday

I have lost track of time. Things have been unbearable for me this month. Lots of unfortunate things had happened.

On a different note, I had this particular person who kept msging me for advice. If she had chosen to be my cu5t0mer, it would be ok. After all, it's my 0bligati0n. But she refused to meet up and would tell me her existing p0rtf0li0 and asked her to give her my advice.

Well, I don't do my research for free.

Gwen organised dinner tonight at PS. Michelle wasn't free; was too last minute for Samantha. Ended up only the two of us + Jon. We talked things over Japanese. Was pretty good, 'cept that I wasn't in the best of moods.

Later part of the evening, Huixian organised a drinking session. Under the persistence of Julia, I went down. After all, it was to celebrate the successful transfer for Wicki.

Think I drank abit too much.

Talk later. Still need to pick Evon and Huixian up to work in another 6 hours.

Another Saturday

Wordless today. Let the photos do the talking.

Cat & I in branch

Cat & HX, and $im0n & $@lly

I love Ted Baker's dressing room.

The wallpaper is absolutely gorgeous. And there's a gem at the end of the hooks. Neat.

Like all boutiques, there would be a chair in the dressing room. But the chair complements the theme.

I spent sometime alone at the beach today. Some moments to relieve all the stress I've been undergoing.

Happy birthday, Jane. =)

Friday

The day was weary. Due to the lack of sleep.

I needed fresh air. I decided to lunch with Pauline at Bukit Panjang before bringing her to the doctor. The poor girl had hurt her leg while getting off the bus. It was amazing how the fees can be so expensive these days.

$60 for some cream. -.-

The evening was spent with Gwen and Samantha at Thai Accent. Hugs were exchanged as we updated each other the happenings... in our lives, in H58C, our income...
The gathering was great, aided by the atmosphere and food.

The night ended early. I had to politely decline Julia's invitation to drinks as there's work tomorrow.

Had been feeling depressed. But life still goes on. From this day forth, much more effort would be put in. I aim to double my income again in two months time.

Long Post

In contrast with the title of the post, this is going to be a short one. I hope. For the sake of the one thing I look forward and am constantly deprieved of... Sleep.

Work is getting a toll on me. The constant search for new pOrtfoliOs. As expected, the m@rkets have not realised an incline. But what better time to invest than now? My own personal investm3nts cover commodities, emerging markets and single countries.

Money has been satisfactory. But could be better.

Time. None for myself. I spend so much time working that my c0lleagues are now like family. It went to such bad extent that one of the girls had a quarrel with her bf over the late nights she had to spend at work.

Sure, there are more parties to attend. I get invites by young girls. I get chat up by c0lleagues in other bRanches, whom most I don't even know their names. Just this week, one girl smiled and waved while I was reversing myself out of Lem0n Ave.

But what I really want now is a refreshed face. Sigh.

Everything else seemed dead.

Anyway...

Fitness Test

It's that time of the year.

Reported to one of the camps this morning with Wicki to have our test done. I hate to admit but it was a struggle for me. Expected though, after all, I've been working 7 days a week non-stop. I don't even have time to have a good night sleep. Where got time to go for jogs?

There were over 100 who came forth to do their test as well. There was no room for cheating as everything has turned electronic.

Nevertheless, I am looking forward to my $200. =)

Event

Just last month, we were discussing on how to improve walk-ins. HX suggested a hot air balloon.

Today, a big balloon stands outside the branch.

We are having an event at 6th @ve this week. We are giving $5 C0ffee Be@n card for fin@ncial c0nsultation and a r@di0 cl0ck for any purchase.

Furthermore, there are Centrep0int v0uchers to be given away for the purchase of insur@nce.

Animals

A couple of Saturdays ago, I was in the branch doing my research on a few particular funds when HQ invited me to his home.

There were many hours to go before 'Game Plan' started, so I went over to have lunch.

Knowing him for more than ten years, think this was the first time I had him cooked for me. Lol.

And it was also the first time I learnt he kept a dora.

A toy dog that looked like a rabbit.

We just love animals, don't we?

Just ask Ikea.

I have been working every single day and am feeling dog-tired. *pun intended*

Thank goodness for Deepava1i. PH are a necessity evil.

I get to rest. But it hurts the wallet.

0ffice

Despite the infrequent walk-ins, I decided I should have a proper table of my own. With only 3 desks and 5 people sharing these terminals, it seems to be over-crowding.

Bl00mberg. My favourite website.

I cornered myself in the br@nch, 'hiding' in a private room, away from the crowd. This would hurt my wallet further, but waiting for a computer to use is a waste of time. The four of us were feeling the 'heat' already. After all, it's already the 8th day of the month!

That aside... the te11ers, serv1ce @mbassad0r and back-end staff were invited to a ManHATtan party tonight, and were required to wear a hat each.

Thus, I went around the branch, putting hats on some of my colleagues' heads and then snapped some photos.

Even I was dragged into it.

We managed to get free tickets to Chitty Chitty Bang Bang musical, thanks to Waikit and Michelle. Supper @ Lau Pa Sat was good, except for the 'sandy' kang kong. Oh, their new home is beautiful!
