Life
The upsides would be having to sit in conference rooms the entire day and still get paid. Longer lunch breaks are a plus as well.
But that's about it.
There are more disadvantages.
You get body aches for sitting too long. And you get fatter at the same time.
You don't get to see much of the sun. You would gladly stay back till 11pm just to study.
You get stress over the weekly exams. Failure may mean termination.
If I am to be shown the door, I think I would apply for social escort.
And get the taitais to get me these watches.
And to get them to invest in these funds for me now.
But right now, I prefer to work hard to get through my papers.

I Love My Samsung
Even with the gauge screaming 'Empty' and the petrol indicator was on, I rushed to Burlington Square to collect my theatre system with Gerrie. Had a little trouble carrying it. Met Darren but few words were exchanged.
And yes, I managed to return home with an empty tank. Topped it up just now at my place.
Because of my exams, I am unable to spend more time with Gerrie. I even have to skip NHSS gathering party at Yuan Yuan's place. Sigh.
Anticipating the arrival of the LCD I purchased yesterday.
If only it comes together with wii!

Reflection
We were fed with breakfast during one of the breaks and Cheong and I were too full to have lunch and had coffee at TCC instead. We ended spending more than what a normal luncheon would have cost. But TCC was a place to see and be seen. There were many familiar faces, largely from H5BC.
Another round of food for afternoon tea made me bloated. I even had chocolate. Both 72% and 96% cocoa. The latter was too bitter for my liking.
There were many games played during the orientation, including those 'touchy-feeling' ones. And one particular question stood out
"Have you ever planned something and it came true?"
I gave a resounding 'yes' in my mind.
There was this mind-map pasted on the wall in my bunk during the NS days. Decisions like whether to study FT/PT and my route to be a b@nker. After 2 years of study and an accumulation of experience from working at H5BC, I am finally on the threshold of a brilliant career.
But for now, I have to pass 3 more papers.

Sold
Just a minute ago, I sold my PSP and am $300 richer.
Congrats to John. In addition to all the accessories, I gave him the Blood Diamond movie file and over 100 mp3s. He didn't turn out to be a geek. But a very nice uncle who's buying it for his son. So sweet.

After 3 days of effort...
Waited the entire day to have the kit fixed up. But majority of the time spent was waiting for Anthony to arrive. But at least we managed to book an appointment with the spray painter and changed the exh@ust tip.
Spent another day for the spray.
An impulsive decision caused me to waste money. 17" rims were beautiful, but too heavy.
Loss of power was obvious. Steering beacame heavier and the steering wheel was shaking.
Thus, a third trip was made.
There we go... the 16" rims.
After 3 days of waiting and over $1050, my dad chipped the kit.

A story of a man who 'battled' through an Iron Man challenge together with his handicapped son. The video displayed a love story of a father's to give his son a better life. A life that transcends the physical ability of his son.
Then I began to concentrate on the lyrics.
Suddenly I felt so broken. The Father provides but I took everything for granted and even pursue the wrong things in life. Have been feeling emo these days. Being insecure about the future, even though I am offered a new job and just gotten the degree. I worry about not being able to pay off the credit card bills, worry about how things will turn out, and even think how people view me when they are doctors and all...
