Sat

Instead of going out, I worked 3.5h in the m0rning, and then spent another 8h at a course on securities. Glad the speaker managed to conclude the talk before 8pm.

Made myself dinner and watched 3 d\/ds.

Car Wash

Despite it being a petr0l-drinker, I still love Bluey.

As I had mentioned so many times already, I love hatchbacks.

Especially c0ntinental makes.

I love the Alfa R0me0 147s.

I love the Audi A3.

I love the Golf series.

And I love the BMW 1 series.

But then again, most hatches l00k alm0st too smiliar. There's M@zda 3, Lati0 and March. Hyund@i has also joined in the fight.

It's amazing when you compare 2 different models of the same make.

It tells of the vast differences in terms of looks and performance.

Anyway....

After the day @ work, HX and I decided to visit our 'neighbour'.

The jam was h0rrible. Waited almost 1.5hours to reach the custom, which was almost free-flowing after that.

We went to Holid@y Plaza, where she did a foot massage, and I went to find my hairdresser.

Bought some d\/ds and then left Bluey at the car wash while we had our dinner.

A long day awaits tomorrow. Nights.

Blings

Accompanied the girls to get their blings this evening.

Here's a man who knows his diamonds.

And read his proposal story.

Cheers.

Red

Red.

The colour of passion, sexiness, thirst, hunger.

And anger.

Especially when you read news, such as 0il prices cr0ssing over $118.

But that's beside the point.

Red is everywhere.

I love red.

But I gotta admit I don't like all shades of red.

I like red Alfas.

Hot red Audi.

So I decided I want a tinge of red in Bluey.

I have been trying to meet Anthony for the longest time and by chance, he texted me saying he's free today.

So here it is... a post on "A DIY Guide to Paint Your Calipers Red".

You would need a cross bar to remove the nuts of your rims.

Then jack up your car and remove the rims.

Cover your rotor properly.

Use a high-temperature spray.

Spray on the calipers evenly.

And this is how it looks with 1 coat of paint.

After 3 coats of paint, lacquer it.

Once the paint is dried, place the rims back.

Tighten the nuts properly.

And repeat the same steps for the other 3 rims.

Want an easy way out? Ask me for Anthony's number. =)

L@wry's

We all passed by this restaurant before.

But I haven't taken a second look.

Perhaps its golden door frame has blinded my sight. Or perhaps its the price that hinted me only the rich can afford.

Perhaps I'm still disappointed why they didn't accept me as a M@rketing Exec. years ago.

Maybe it happens I prefer my chicken at Ke Ai Ji.

*Horribly translated as 'Cute Chicken'.

Chicken has never tasted so funny before. Kee Siao Chicken.

Anyway, the 5 of us decided to meet up to push that golden door as far as our wallets could carry us.

Opening that door wasn't difficult. In fact, we were quickly swept away to the main dining hall, away from the 2 private halls they have in the same area.

We were quickly settled down, with loaves of bread on the table.

"Still or sparkling water? Or perhaps some wine?"

Eh... I'm fine to drinking chilled water, you know. Even though we all know it probably comes from the tap directly.

We decided on still water.

Water that never moves.

I was then handed the menu. On one side of the menu, they had the set dinner, which cost $88 per pax. And the right side, it shows the range of dishes they have. Till your eyes move to the bottom of the page.

Water cost $7.

Right.

Since we were already there, might as well ignore the cost and just enjoy ourselves.

Orders were taken and conversation resumed.

Until...

"Sorry for the interruption," the waitress said. In front of her was a big bowl of salad, on top of another bowl of ice. She begins to spin the bowl of salad.

"This is our world famous spinning salad", she introduced. She then did a curtsey, pouring a bowl of sauce into the salad.

Drama Rama.

Fine. It was really good.

Especially when you add some peppa into it.

The girls.

The main course arrived.

It was splendid to watch how we were served.

Michelle had fish.

Kimmy had her English cut.

WK & Gerrie had their L@wry's cut.

And I had the beef tenderloin.

The ambience was excellent, service was above average and I enjoy the paintings on their high ceiling.

The portion was huge, but being herself, Kimmy didn't quite have enough.

Yes, we had deserts as well.

I would think we all enjoyed ourselves. I wouldn't want to discuss the price, but to conclude, let's just say we needed a well-deserving treat.

Nights.

Dinner

It feels good when you are appreciated.

But the feeling is brought to another level when your customer shows it out. P0lar may not be expensive, but the act goes a long way.

One of my c0lleagues did really well last month. So well my b0ss c0mmented it is s0meone's annu@l inc0me. The pers0n wanted to th@nk the br@nch for the support and decided to throw a dinner.

At Tao's.

Upon arrival, the waiter gave me the menu and recommended me some dishes. It was a set meal, so I had to make my choice of starters, main course and deserts.

I started off with a pot of chilled rose apple tea.

And I was given a shot of icy juice and a glass of warm tea.

It seemed starters alone came in a few varities.

I was given a few slices of bread. And was supposed to layer it with a plate of mushroom with cheese. Totally delicious.

Second part of starters was a plate of fruit salad. Toppled with crab meat.

Then came...

A plate of mushrooms. To die for.

And a bowl of mushroom soup. Very similar to Marche.

Next came the main course.

I decided on steak. But I ended up with a small portion of it, 'cus we decided to share among ourselves. I had a portion of flounder, which was lovely. And the girls gave me so much ribs, I thought I was eating the entire pig.

Finally came deserts, which was quite disappointing.

However, we left with a happy note. Service was fantastic, food was great.

Best of all, we were given a free tea pot, packed in a red box with its name labelled.

Do try Tao's. $33 per pax.

Tues

First thing I did in office was to reach out for the Busin3ss T1m3s.

After l0sing some $ over 2 c0unters, I finally made a gain to cover those losses.

Now still holding 35 l0ts of 2 counters. Hope the market continues to go up.

Dinner tonight was nice.

At least it made me forget the stress. =)

Onwards tomorrow!

Work

Had an extremely disappointing day. C@t managed to close one of the customers that I had contacted before. That deal was so big that it is worth at least $960 as c0mm.

Disappointed.

At least I cl0sed 2 cases. One of which was my regul@r cust0mer. We had a long chat at the Pr3mi3r Centre despite the br@nch had closed.

The c0mm structure has been amended as of today. P0sed a greater challenge to us.

Nvm. Would give it my best shot.

2 c0unters made me l0se $$. Hopefully, the m@rket picks up tom0rr0w.

2 More Hours to Monday

Work on Saturdays have been increasingly crucial, with more walk-ins. However, it was really unfortunate that HX closed one of my customer while I was busy doing servicing for another.

My customer decided she should be fair to me, by allocating half of the amount to me. HX was sweet to offer to return the other half to me, but since she had done her part, I thought she should keep it.

Had a quiet evening with Gerrie. A simple dinner affair at Kenny Rogers, some shopping done sums up all. Saw a couple of my customers along the way. Gerrie was really nice to buy me a memory pillow after I had complained about body ache. The range of Chanel comestics she had bought was excellent.

Sunday. I almost refused to wake up. But every roadshow spells potential revenue points. Reached AMK at 830 to have breakfast with the girls. During the r0adshow, HX decided to return yesterday's favour by passing me some stuff. Really cool of her.

We decided to reward ourselves to Sushi Tei. The girls treated themselves to massage while I rushed off to wash the car and clean up the room.

Shagged.

Re-shuffled the furniture. Packed my stuff.

My new 32". It's quite cool to bl0g using such a big screen.

Yet to watch TV, DVD, play Wii with it.

Where got time?!?

Jia You!

I was offered the job as a P3rs0nal We@lth M@n@ger at H5B( today.

And they were willing to buy me out from 0(B( and want me to start w0rk on M0n.

That's in 4 days time.

I was half excited and half hestitated and had a chat with my b0ss.

The conclusion would be to stay on for a few more months, either get the pr0m0tion as a Br@nch Rel@ti0nship M@n@ger or move on to other b@nks' Premier/ Tre@sury/ Privileged b@nking.

I'm actually going to say n0 to H5B( t0m0rrow. At least f0r the time being.

Start of the Month

Happy April's Fool Day.

It seems the st0ck market was playing a joke today, coming down after it resumed at 2pm. Still it managed to close with a positive 1.3%.

The 2 counters I'm still holding onto had been hovering. Hopefully the bull run resumes tomorrow.

Managed to submit all my cases today and with the reported figures, HX and me ranked 2nd & 3rd in the W3st cluster. B0ss' m00d has also became better. I'm motivated to work harder this month and would like to get my five-figure c0mm.

My appeal for Feb c0mm has been successful and would be credited this month. Can't wait!

Still fighting for my h0me l0an cases.

Cheerios.

Work is tiring.

The party organised by the B@nk is still on tomorrow at M0S.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Updates

Despite the further writed0wns of U85, D0w J0n3s managed to climb.

Really hope 5T1 would do the same and let me contra off my 2 counters today!
