Saturday Talk

School ended early this afternoon, so i headed to Car Beauty with the intention to see bodykits. I got bored and went to strike conversation with a fellow Lancer driver. He took his time to tell me his mod and all. Kinda interesting. A good way to kill time. Heh.

I waited for Geraldine for 15 minutes when she decided to wake up. -_- So I drove into her private car park and waited for 2 hours for her to get ready. Double -_-"

We reached East Coast Park before the crowd decided to infest in the food centre. The stingray, kang kong, satays and chicken wings are the best. Love it.

Had met KB and his friend in town, where he and Geraldine decided to buy perfume. Her choice of smell was So Givenchy; KB Coolwater. It was interesting to see how she spends her money. She was literally jumping from counters to counters. I brought KB to the Kenneth Cole Signature counter and when I looked up, she had bought another set of Calvin Klein.

Tonight, she bought me drinks again.

Sorry to Elaine for not meeting up. By the time I sent Geraldine home, it was already 1. But then, I was so hungry I cooked maggie the moment I stepped into the house.

Another time arite?

Really really tired. Good night.

Someone transport me to Bintan please.

Friday Talk

Was back in the office. Had been a short week. Was scanning through the emails today, and had to spent the rest of the late afternoon to explain to this lady the procedure of my work. Boss wasn't around today, so the mood was jovial. =)

The bank called again, but I have doubts. So, nair mind.

On a happy note, it's payday as well as the collection of the Pr0gre55 package and 2nd payout of SwissCash. So I got myself this.

Oh, please tell me if this is nice.

School was a bore, and Kian Boon came to pick me up. We had McDonald's at West Coast Park before meeting the WestSiders. Was feeling so sianz when Vic told me he could get me new rims at only S$250. Sheesh. Shouldn't have changed so fast.

We picked Geraldine and Daniel up from church and headed for supper. The group played pool thereafter. Dim sum for second round of supper before going home.

Kk, time to sleep. It's late, boys and girls.

Thursday Talk

I can't seem to sleep last night. I was tossin' around the entire time and even woke up half an hour before the expected time. Dad and mom were already up to support the elect10n th1ngy. I took slightly less than half an hour to get dressed and prepared my stuff. At 0845h, I was driving towards Tanj0ng Pagar.

It started to rain, thus I took a bus from the railway station towards S1A Bui1ding. I troubled Thomas by having him print my resume, and hand it to me, together with my Zara and umbrella.

I had went to a bank for an interview. Ended up having the HR asking me what position I was looking for. Less than ten minutes, I was out of the room. Disappointed. The only position was to do telesales. Cross-selling of insurance plans. Wow. How exciting.

I slacked at Burger King and was reading the Da Vinci Code, which I thought the contents were crap. It tried to mix facts with fiction, thus casting many doubts. The book moves very slowly, compared to the first installment,'Angels & Demons'. Perhaps, I'm bored with his style of writing. Very long-winded.

At an interview with another bank, the disappointement was even greater. I rejected the offer outright. Sheesh, that position was obscene. Heh.

Had taken Black Cat for a wash. This man tried chatting me up and asked if I want to drive up to Malacca with him. Sheesh. Like that also can. Went to pick Geraldine up from her workplace. Was really sweet of her to get me a box of durian puffs from Goodwork Park Hotel. The biggest puffs I have ever seen. It's as if they had lump the durian flesh and top it with the crust. Tasted simply good. Think orgasm.

School was boring. Almost dozed off. Was glad when class ended. And in under twenty minutes, I was having hokkien mee at Geylang. Feeling very sleepy now. Felt that my day off went quite wasted. Sigh. Results for last semester were crap. But on a lighter note, received my 2nd payout for the Swiss Cash.

Elaine was sharing the discrimination she and Sharon had to face when in 5MU. Guess there'll always be rich and obnoxious people in our midst and we'll have to deal with it. There are some people who are blessed with brains, looks, money and bodies. Sigh.

Kits are up for sale.

Leave Talk

Met Anthony this morning and we went into Malaysia. I was holding a pen and a piece of paper, trying to record down the road I have to take in order to reach Southern Motorsports. Was quite fun, took it like a road trip.

Spent the entire afternoon there. Anthony did his Evo 5 skirts, while I had had my matt black windscreen stickers done. Would put in the Denzo spark plugs when Black Cat undergoes servicing.

Anyway, I find nothing extraordinary with V-Power. Heh.

Oh, there was this woman who knocked into this guy's car. She didn't even bother to stop and apologised and she simply drove off. The poor guy realised it like half an hour later. Heh.

Met Geraldine at Taka. We had wanted to go to Alley Bar, but there weren't any sofa seats, so we headed to Opium, where she showed me her 0CBC Titanium card. Gosh! I was like, "WOW!" Heh, she even offered to sub one for me. But then again, I know myself. I spend like no one's business. So better not.

--> Life's precious. Don't speed. Just saw a horrible accident in PIE. The most horrifying accident I have ever seen.

Anyway, yup, tomorrow I would be on leave again. Cya!

Late Talk

Geraldine asked me out this evening, so I stayed put in the office so that I could pick her up in time. We left for Waraku and we were given this special seating. The food is expectedly nice but seem to have minimized abit, i.e. in smaller servings.

The banana split at Anderson's was good. Comes with 2 scoops of ice-cream of our choice, splattered with fresh grounded nuts, a cone and a banana. And you get to dip 'em into a cup of fudge. Nice.

Geraldine ended up shopping again. At Pazzion. The shoes are pretty and she got hers at S$80. Think it's so much better than Charles & Keith and U.R.S. But of course, girls look stunning in Nine West.

Anyway, Polo Black is passe. Now, get this. Kenneth Cole's Signature.

Definitely more manly.

I had put on Signature this evening and Geraldine was like, "Nice. What's that?"

So I said, "It's a mixture. Ferragamo in the morning. Burberry in the afternoon. Kenneth Cole in the evening. Oh, not forgetting Hong Lim market smell for lunch."

Heh.

We passed by Sa Sa and so I showed her how the bottle looks like. And I joked with her saying Signature would prolly not out-sell Black.

"Why?" she asked.

"'Cus no one wants to smell like shoes."

Signature is really good, just that when everyone hears Kenneth Cole, they think of its shoes. Go try it! Priced slightly less than S$90 for the smaller bottle, and over S$100 for a bigger one.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Was talking to Huiyue about love and if it has an expiry date tagged to it.

I thought what she said was true in many aspects.

What happens when a couple breaks up?

"I wanna know u're ok. That life's been good to ya, that everything's goin on fine. I'll be ard still if u ever do need me and i hope u'll find tt someone tt truly belongs to ya. It's just sad tt exs dun remain in contact. It's not that one needs the love of his/her ex, it's just sad to see how unfamiliar a stranger the other has become."

"Couples dun break up for fun. It didn't work out thus it fell apart. Both understands both arent meant for each other. It's e last resort to e end of e love and once u've moved on, be sure u be true to e one tt came along. You dun need no explanation as to the love that is gone, you dun ask or blame ur ex for not loving u no more. It's becuz it didnt work tt it fell apart and there will no longer be 'us'."

So there you go, guys. Words from a beautiful lady.

Office Talk

Everyone sitting in my area tunes into Class95, enhancing the stereo feeling.

But the best part is when everyone starts singing along 'This Love'.

Lovely.

Table Talk

Over dinner, Mum asked me if I want to go Mongolia.

I replied curtly, "Aren't we already in Mongolia? We live so far from town."

Had dinner with my family for the past two days. Happy.

But in two weeks time, I would be having my meals alone. The rest of 'em would be going to Taiwan for an entire week. I could do whatever I want! Heh. Who wants to camp over?

Sheesh. I got work.

Might be sneaking in Malaysia to do the bodykit, and may go for a short trip. Shall see.

I leave you with this short story.

------------------------------------------------------------

A couple was arguing in the park.

The guy said, "Aright! Enough. I have enough of you and your nonsense. You're geography."

The girl said, "I think you meant history."

And the guy said, "Er... don't change subject."

The End.

A Simple Life Is All I Ask For

Waxed the car twice in two days. I'm so bored. Heh. Dinner with Geraldine and KB was nice. So was the time at Brew Essential.

------------------------------------------------------

I do not need to be famous.

I do not need to be filthy rich.

I do not need a private jet to fly around.

I do not need Louis Vuittons.

A simple life is all I ask for.

I could live with it if I have to take a taxi.

When I'm dead drunk.

All I need is a simple Alfa Romeo to drive to work everyday. Accompanied with an Audi TT to do my weekend shopping with my family. Maybe add a 350Z to race in.

I wouldn't mind living in a 5 room flat. In Shelford, that is.

I do not need a Patek Philippe. A simple Piaget would do.

I do not need servants to wait on me. One would do.

I could just call up someone to clean my fish tank, maybe a pest control company to do a 'lil spraying to get rid of the unwanted guests.

I do not need a high end Sony sound system. A simple Bang & Olufsen TV would do.

I do not need to have favourites. These are simply physcial things I could own.

I do not need to have three girlfriends. A lovely wife who would love me and the children would do.

A simple life is all I ask for.

As you can see, I'm dreaming when I have to get to work in another 6 hours.

Monday blues. Sigh.

Would You Like To Dance With Me?

After washing the car, I met Gary at Autobacs. He was really nice to take me to this place where I got my new rims and tires.

It's the lightest rim I could find, weighing at only 5kg each. Steering is made even easier now, and acceleration is slightly better. Accompanied by the Firenza tires, the ride is so much quieter. Firenza is from Sumo Tyres, another of Japan's huge tire manufacturer. Made me a happier but poorer man.

Kian Boon looked really sad today. I would too. It's one thing to see someone you love going to marry your friend. The devasting thing is that he has to help them in their wedding preparation. Sigh. I don't think I would be able to do that lor. Bro, cheer up.

Went to fetch Geraldine and we had dinner at NYDC. Soon after, we went to watch 'Burn The Floor'. Click that link to watch the trailer. It's super good, super slick.

More than 35 world championship dancers participated. There were varities of dance performances. I can't say which one is my favourite, 'cus all dances were really good.

I love this segment where this couple dance to a slow dance, with twinkling effects in the background. The girl was wearing this black flowing dress, which was so beautiful. I would really wish to dance with my bride on my wedding night. Sigh. So perfect.

Then there was this dance where they wore clashing coloured outfits, like those in the 80s era. Thought it was so fun to have a crowd to dance on the stage. Nice!

Most of the guys are really tall and they could shake their asses so well that alot of aunties were wolf-whistling. For a moment, I thought I was in this male-strip club. Heh.

The girls were really good as well. Their moves were really provocative, slick and erm... passionate.

The downside's gotta be the sitting arrangement. Sunt3c can be really dumb. Bahz. Indoor stadium would be a better venue. Nevertheless, the dancing was really good.

The rest of the evening was beautiful.

Would you like to dance with me?

Friday Talk

Everyone in the office was given this letter today. Salary review. Everyone seemed to be in their lousy mood. The office was rather quiet, except for the few who got their status upgraded.

But I guess come next month, things would liven up when they receive their 4 months bonuses. A total of 6 months. Can you imagine what you can do with that sum of money? I could fly to France and shop for my LVs! Unfortunately, I get zilch. Zero. Non. Fuck.

As said, the pay rise was pathetic. We had initially planned to go for drinks, but was cancelled. So, I met up with Kian Boon for dinner. Was nice to do some catching up with him. After which, we went to meet the SHC guys. Felt left out though, 'cus everyone drives... yea, Hondas.

Hanged around for a 'lil while and we went to meet Daniel and Geraldine who were having their choir practice at church. We headed to Selegie's Haagen Daz. The place was not bad and the service was good. Just that the serving could be really small. Then Dan got hungry, and we headed to Bedok market.

Been quite a night.

Sleepy Talk

Was only when I reached the lobby, then I realised I had made a lunch appointment with Kenny last night.

Glad he didn't mind joining me and my colleagues for lunch.

Was quite surprised Eddy wanted to meet up today. Met him, JJ, Derick and Huiyue for dinner.

Light-hearted conversations. Nice.

Really sleepy now. Night.

Huiyue, thanks for coming out tonight. The song's beautiful.

Senseless Talk

The other day I met Cheryl, I made her wait over an hour.

Today, Geraldine waited for me 3 hours. Heh. But that's 'cus she wanted to take time off. Envy can. Just yesterday, she spent 300 bucks on GG5 and today over 100 on Topshop. If only I have that money.

GNC sent me a 1-for-1 card at Big O last year for my birthday, but could only be used this month. It kinda makes no sense. Like why would I want to have dinner in April when my birthday is in December. Perhaps GNC is all brawns, but no brains. But if I'm not wrong, its boss here is a female. Ah... lagi worse. She uses her boobs to think.

So anyway, Big O is like an up-market NYDC. Food's really nice. Had 'tis bacon-wrapped chicken thingy, dipped with BBQ sauce. The mashed potato is fantastic. Gerrie had cod fish, which was really good as well. And to round it up, we had a cake to share. Total bill: S$38.

I tell ya, I suspect the 'O' in Big O stands for Orgasm. The food's so good it gives me waves of orgasms.

Not a coincidence 'kay.

Just look at 'Ooh La La'. The brand that sells skimpy clothes that scream "I WANT ORGASMS TONIGHT!"

That sure explains why girls like to go "Ooh..."

Ooh Ahh... OOh... AHh...

K, 'nuff of nonsense.

Anyway, after that, we popped by Apple and they have having this promotion. If you use your POSB/DBS debit/credit cards, you get 8% off the iPods, plus free case i think. A 30GB iPod would now cost only S$504.

Gerrie's friend met up with us at Che Che. It's a store next to Apple, which sells really cute bags. Cute, but do read COSTLY bags.

The two girls are like so uptown girls. Status differences, I guess. They were talking about Dior and Loewe bags, Cartier jewellery, like as if who gives a hoot about LV or Tiffany.

Her friend was quite observant. She could tell if a girl has MAC on her. The shimmer is different, she explained.

We were at McCafe and she went, "Hey, those cufflinks are from Raoul right?"

Spot on.

Money. It occurs to me I'm unhappy with my job, or rather the earnings. But I'm too lazy to change it. Besides, my darn studies doesn't allow me to have inflexible working hours. Bahz. I can't stop emphasizing the fact I don't like school.

There are so many expenses on my mind.

An Abbesses which cost S$1730.

A card holder which cost S$280.

2 pair of shoes which are estimated at S$400.

Handphone.

Digital camera.

Well, go watch this while I brood over my pathetic life.

Blackathy, 11:55 PM

I Get A Kick Out Of You

I get a kick out of listening to Jamie Cullum.

I get a kick out of reading the Da Vinci Code during office hours.

I get a kick out of eating prata in the morning. During office hours.

I get a kick out of eating Cowhead. Arguably one of the best chocolate biscuits I ever had.

I get a kick out of eating curry chicken mee this afternoon, which I have been yearning for since last night.

I get a kick out of receiving my 4th payout tonight. Thanks to James and his team @ F&N. Pity Jamie is not there anymore.

I get a kick out of washing Black Cat.

I get a kick when agents mail or call me to apologise. Heh. And most of 'em are General Managers.

I get a kick out of writing this post when no one bothers to drop in their comments. Not.

I get a kick out of being single for a month. Yes, officially been a month.

But why am I feeling blue tonight?

Long (Weekend) Talk

Short Talk

It seems like just yesterday I was looking forward to the long weekend, and in a couple of hours, it's going to be over.

Did a 'lil bit of stuff over the 3 days, met up with some ol' friends.

Made plans but never seem to be able to meet up with JJ. Apologies to Boon Wee as well. And Elaine, though it seems like a surprise. I was like, "Elaine! She just asked me out!" Heh. Never thought I would ever receive a text from her. Ryan too. Always failed to meet up for supper with him and Andy. And not forgetting Daniel. A pity couldn't meet up with Huiyue, Amanda, Xinhui, cyj and gang.

Would make up to you guys one day.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Best Laid Plans

Plans on Thursday night were made with Cheryl, but she had to cancel it at the last minute. Ended up having dinner with Serene, Lulu, Shujuan, Lijuan and her husband. Was a 'lil tad boring 'cus the main topic that night was about marriage, having babies, facial products. So while they were talking, I busied myself with the beer. Heh.

Had a nice talk with Thomas that night. I thought it was... genuine. Nice.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thought there was church service on Friday morning, so went down, only to realize it's closed. Eventually, had breakfast with Serene.

And I only managed to finish 5 chapters of Da Vinci Code.

It started pouring so heavily. Cheryl and I were chillin' at Coffee Bean, watching time went by. Ended up doing shopping at Kinokuniya. Convinced her to buy Dan Brown's books. Heh. Would like to say to her that Popular is offering 20% discount on those books. Oopx.

Did some catching up. Glad she's happy. She still looked the same, maybe aged a 'lil. But her figure is still so good. She's different from the girls I know, in the sense she's composed and more mature. Her character's independent and strong-willed. Something that is lacking in many people.

Had supper with Geraldine. Glad to meet up with her after all these years. Though she has been back in Singapore for more than a year from Australia, it's only recently that we have met. The classiest girl I've known.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

In less than a span of 12 hours, I met Geraldine again for 'Ice Age Meltdown'.

Graphiz, as usual, was really good. May be a cartoon show, but learnt something from it.

Never be a prey to fear.

All of us have fears. We choose to keep some of 'em deep inside, never allowing it to surface. Little do we know it can choose to immobilize us, hindering us in our progress of building a better future for ourselves.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sunday's my official rest day. Waxed the car after church service and have been slacking all the way since.

Talked to Daniel the entire evening. Thanks for sharing.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Question

I realized some of us do not dare to fight for what we want in life. I dunno if it's fear or expectations that hinder us or our decisions.

Have been talking to a couple of people and realized everyone suffers from inferior complexity. Just tad many mask it well with the protrayal of succeeding in many areas in life. We look happy, but we may not be really happy inside.

Are girls really becoming more pratical and materialistic? What do girls look out for in guys? Do they need to have established career, money, car, looks....?

Do you guys out there withdraw yourselves when you realise the girl you like is of different status? Status that is pre-determined by our society. Girls, would you reject a guy who is er... 'lesser' than you?

What's your take on it?

Morbid Talk

Small Talk

Have you people make any plans for this coming long weekend??? Can you just imagine!?! Thurs evening to Sunday night! WOOHOO!!! Let's go for drinks tomorrow evening. Jio me go out k! Anyone! Everyone! Heh.

---------------------------------------------------------------

Joyce was telling me she wants sunflowers at her own funeral. A yellow and orange theme, she says. Sounds very McD0na1d's to me wor. (Must enlarge that picture k!)

Ok, I just realised R0nald's decked in yellow and red, not orange. My bad. Sorry, children.

I have been thinking about how my funeral would be like for the longest time. I want the mood to be light-hearted. 'Cus I would be knockin' on Heaven's door. Actually not. The door would be open.

Anyway, I would like to have my funeral in the woods.

Just imagine the leaves falling from the trees. A big band playing at my funeral, accompanied by a choir. Swinging jazz style, of course.

Never mind. I've changed my mind. Too noisy. I would just have Diana Krall sing for me.

Nearby, wooden tables are set. Decorated with mini-white roses from Holland. Guests would eat from Tiffany's silverware.

Such a beautiful funeral, all of you must attend k!

Else I would just have to invite you personally.

You wouldn't want that, would you?

Sigh. Reality check. S1ngap0re has no woods. So prolly under one HDB flat, with people pouring in.

"Wah! Got funeral there leh! Sure got gambling one. Let's go leh!"

What mini-roses? I can die laughing if there are chrysanthemum flowers.

*cries* "Why he die so young?" *sob sob* "Ok, let's not waste the chrysanthemum flowers. I go make chrysanthemum tea for everyone."

Nice.

Expect no McSp1cy. Curry chicken maybe still have. With disposable paper plates.

And while you're having that, some getai singers would prolly croon 'Jin Tian Bu Hui Jia'.

Makes sense what. Can't go home anymore.

I'm tired. Good night everyone. Have a smashing evening. Go amuse yourself elsewhere. Still don't want to write comments. Shame on you! *tsk tsk*

Dinner

Work was terribly busy today. Couldn't find the time to read 'The Naked Face'. Am at Chapter Four only. Thanks to Daniel for the Da Vinci Code. Yeap, I'm slow.

Daniel was kind enough to ask me out for dinner. Heh. A treat from him. Neh, I was just a substitute.

A church friend of his is studying at Shatec, and is working as a chef at one of its restaurant, Petals. To support his friend, Daniel bought 2 tickets and had intially asked one of his schoolmate to go. Turned out she had something on, so I was then invited. Sheesh.

Housed at The Treasury building, along High Street, Petals provides a learning environment for its students. Tickets are priced at S$26 each. I would say it's kinda costly. Maybe it's just me. I have this mentality the food is prepared by trainees, served by trainees, for the guinea pigs.

The decor was simple, with dim lightings. Petals try to project an image that it offers fine dining experience, but I thought it is far from that. Furniture looks like it's bought seond-hand. Music is barely audible. Service was quite slow though. And the waiters tend to group together and make small talks. It gives an impression that they are either bored or too free.

But the food was not bad actually. We were given butter and a piece of bread for starters.

For appetizer, we had this king prawn with wasabe mayonniase, served with Japanese salad, trickled with raspberry vinaigrette. Pure sour. Bleah. But the grilled prawn was good.

I love the soup. Cream of carrot garnished with seaweed croutons. Yummy!

I had pan-fried seabass with cilantro crust served with teriyaki sauce. The fish was so good, and the mashed potato tasted heavenly.

Tea was served, with a piece of chocolate and cream puff.

And la finale... orange Japanese cheescake served with green tea gelato, drizzled with strawberry sauce.

To be fair, the service was not too bad. The waiters busied themselves by pouring water, so cups would never go empty. One of the waitresses was especially attentive to our needs as well. I would rate Petals a 5, though I prolly wouldn't go back there anymore.

Daniel's appetite never fails to surprise me. The minute we were out of Petals, he bought McSpicy meal from good ol' McDonald's. Haha.

Aritey. I'm tired. It's 1130 and it's time for bed. Nitey.

Blackathy, 10:31 PM

I've Found A Way How Not To Spend Money... So Easily

Firstly, withdraw lots of cash and put them into your wallet.

Have that mentality that you have no money left in your bank.

Go to those frangrance counter, spray some parfum on those strips and put it in your wallet.

Your wallet, and cash smells so good, you wouldn't want to part them away.

Sigh, so much emails today at work. Everyone looks so tired in the train this morning.

Blackathy, 9:31 AM

Mindless Talk

Levis is having a 70% sale.

But have those people ever wonder why the stock doesn't seem to diminish despite the large crowd?

Queue for a pair of blue stockings? Siaoz ah.

Blackathy, 7:29 AM

I Feel Ugly

I mentioned majority of S1ngaporean men are lazy, in terms of appearances. They don't spend enough time taking care of their skin, or enough effort to dress up.

It's already so hard for guys to look good, yet we aren't doing anything about it. Girls have their make-ups, we don't. We have nothing to cover up our flaws.

I read somewhere that guys just need to be charming to be hot, whereas girls have to be hot to be hot.

One word of advice though, don't go around telling your girlfriends, "I know I don't look like Brad Pitt..." Everyone knows that. But girls prefer guys who are confident of themselves. So smile, and be charming. Of course, neither do we say things like,"How can Jude Law be compared to me? I'm like the best looking guy here lor."

Girls have many issuses to deal with. They have to do their hair. They have to take care of their skin. Just look at how much they spend on skin products. Facial wash, toner, moisturizer, facial mask, hand mask.... They have to know what make-up suits them. They must know how to apply make-up. They have to do their eyebrows. Choosing clothes to bring out their figures. Shop for heels, bags, accessories to complete the look.

Then they have to be mindful of how they walk, talk, sit... So take time and bring them to shopping. Give them ideas. And tell them your opinions. They'll appreciate it. And have fun while doing so! Let them model in clothes that you think it's nice. Laugh it off with her if it doesn't.

Yeap, so I say again, it's time we guys do something about ourselves.

Firstly, get an expensive haircut. Lions are beautiful because of their manes. Visit a hair stylist and let him/her do whatever he/she wants. Then ask your girlfriends if it suits you.

Take care of our skin. Hydrate. Cleanse and moisterize. We can't really do much with our facial features, but we can improve on it. Spot a clean shave. Trim your nails. Do your eyebrows if it's bushy. Remove that thought about being too metrosexual. How do you think Takeshi Kaneshiro looks so good?

Dress well. We can't accessorize much. If you're into jewellery, take a look at the men's range at Lee Hwa or Tian Po. A wide range of selection to choose from.

Clothes needn't be expensive, but let it be body-fitting. Buying a size bigger doesn't equate to money saving. Cuff-links are the only accessories a man can have. Ok, not true. Get a pair of nice-looking watch.

Wallets, bags, belts and shoes are important as well, to complete the look. Leather, of course.

Tees and jeans are cool but jerseys should be confined to fields, not to shopping centres. Slippers are for beaches, not restaurants. Bermudas are for chalets, not town.

I think we should learn how to speak well. Leave the profanities out. At least out of the girls' hearing range. Sigh, I have a BIG problem in pronouncing words.

Be sure and mindful of yourself. And not overwhelming.

There are many things I'm not doing it right.

A lack of exercise. Lack of water. And lack of sleep.

Off to bed now. 3.5 hours more to wakkie time.

Ladies, please share with us your views.

Good night.

Btw, Jude Law and Takeshi Kaneshiro are the faces of Alfred Dunhill and Biotherm respectively.

Boring Talk

Ok, the exam went really bad. I'm really afraid I would flunk this module. Business Econs really sucks. I failed my mid-term, scored only 75% for its project and I don't know how to do the paper today. Sigh. In such bad mood can.

Oh, you should check out UWA's brochure. It looks better now, with Asian models.

Daniel swears they are Chines3 nati0nals.

Anyway, he is having his looooooong holiday and met me in town. But shopping on a Monday feels weird. Ooh, Zara is introducing a cheaper line for men's pants. Found several pants going for only S$39.90.

Dan's appetite is growing. First, he had Ma1ay rice at Food Republic, then a bowl of beef rice at Yoshinoya, and finally a plate of noodles. For dinner. Isn't that amazing?!?

We had wanted to catch a movie, but he didn't want to watch The Inside Man. And we decided it's too gay to watch Tristan & Isolde together.

Oh, there's this Ma1ay waiter at Yoshinoya who deserve this Best Service Award or something. A lady, who's erm... mentally challenged, walked into Yoshinoya 3 times. And each time she approached the counter, he was patient and willing to serve her. I thought that was really good service.

Dan's friend came after. She's kinda erm... sloppy looking. Dressed in an oversized De11 polo-tee, in a pair of tattered jeans and slippers. After M0nt B1anc, we went to LV, 'cus she wanted to look at the wallets.

I was looking at its bags, comparing Broadway and Abbesses. Ooh, Broadway comes in Monogram Canvas, but it requires special order. It takes 5 months and it cost S$1999. About S$400 more than Damier.

I think Abbesses is quite nice too. So Broadway's out!

Dersou's not bad, but it's not entirely leather. Besides, it's too big. The salesgirl was really nice today though. For LV owners, don't moisterize your products with leather care. A damp cloth would suffice.

Oh, back to Dan's friend. Her name's Tracy Joy Cheo Jia Jia. (Haha, but not chio. Ok, my bad.) She looked at the price of Abbesses and said, "Oh, that's a week pay."

I was like, "What! That's your week pay?"

Abbesses retails at S$1730.

Tracy sells Dell computers, acts as a referral for Prudential, and on top of that, is schooling at NP. And she's opening a stall selling soya bean at Far East Square. How cool is that?

(But I thought as a sales person, she really ought to dress up. Heh.)

Anyway, didn't do any shopping today. But I got this from the library! Yeah!

Both Daniel and I were at Mos Burger, and he was talking about Tracy's cousin, Lingting. He went on about how hot she is, how rich she is. Living near Four Seasons Hotel, grandad owns an oil field and all...

I was looking around and a girl looked into my direction and smiled. So I went "She looks nice."

And he went, "Oh, that's Lingting." Speak of coincidence. This evening, I bumped into her again at Wisma.

Met Geraldine after her work at 10 and we headed to TCC.

TCC @ Boat Quay is really nice. The decor and everything. Head upstairs and you get to sit on the floor with cushion. Pretty cool. Too bad Geraldine was wearing a pair of skirt, so we settled on the sofa.

Lots of thoughts in my mind tonight. Mostly on career and money. Ever since Huiyue talked about working in banks and insurance companies. Meeting Tracy and Geraldine. About people leading different lives. Makes me wonder where am I now.

I feel so stuck, with school and all. It's like... I want to do something, yet school interferes with everything.

Sigh. One more year to go. I don't even know if I can pass Business Econs.

Well, smile. Another day has gone passed.

Nevertheless, the gossips were fun tonight.

Everyone's Talking About It

I see myself lost in the woods. Dancing alone.

Nissan has revealed its new model.

There has been much talk about the new Nissan Syphillis Sylphy.

Here's my take on it.

It looks like a mini-Cefiro. The designers must be either uncreative or have no more ideas.

Who are they targetting at? Introduction of product-line extention is common. But why a 1.5l and a 2.0l? Weird. And are they hoping sales of Latio and Cefiro would drop? I wonder.

No power at all!

Too costly. With that price tags, anyone would be better off with a Civic or an Accord.

And the name sucks.

How do you actually pronouce it?

Sew-fe?

Bahz.

I feel like dancing. Anyone?

Crap Talk

<--- To the boys and Huiyue. As promised.

Anyway, I just came back from the library. I don't know what I'm reading lah! I think the textbook is quite crappy, and it doesn't quite link with the powerpoint slides. Sigh.

I realised majority of Singaporean guys are quite lazy. Apperance wise, that is. But that would be a different topic altogether.

In another 20 hours, my nightmare would be over. I so hate econs. Been thinking of the many shows I wanna watch! There's Ice Age 2, The Inside Man, Firewall, Tristan & Isolde, Keeping Mum, Failure To Launch... hands uP! Who wanna watch 'em with me? PM me! PLEASE! Heh.

Thought of going shopping. But then again, there's nothing I want to get. Nvm, shall wait for the GSS then. Another 2 more months only.

I wanna go rollerblading! Hands up again, everyone!

I wanna go away for a short trip! So many things to do. I hate school. It interferes with my life. Bleah.

'Got to ask yourself the question... where are you now?'

I'm lost.

This Car Damn Stylo Milo Hor!

But I tell you... the driver more stylo.

The other night, he was watching some DVD in his car.

Next morning, I found him sleeping in it.

What Do You Do When You're Bored?

You'll start praying to your car.

Ok, this man was caught drunk. Bleah.

Untitled

My vortex fin has been fixed. Was glad the sky decided to clear up in the later part of the afternoon.

Dinner was cold. Or rather the place was freezing. But I like the company. Was good to see Daniel and the rest of the boys again.

cyj's looking good with his Oakleys. But he did not bring his camera along. K, abit no link there.

JJ... same o same o. Kept saying Huiyue is pretty. Hope he gets into SMU! So greedy. Oredi got a place in NUS. Sigh.

Happy for Zitian. He's making plans to continue with his studies. With Deakin University. But unfortunately, the name sounds more like peking duck.

Guohao's still the same. Tua Pao. Heh.

Yup, first time meeting Huiyue. And yes, she's pretty.

The coffee didn't do me good. Feeling really tired.

Good night everyone.

Programs Later

Just transferred money to Dad. Plus the money I'm going to put into Swiss Cash... it's enough for me to get this and this and get a S$100 change back. Sigh. So broke now.

The Swiss Cash controversial... read this forum.

Going to Jurong East now to meet Daniel. Yeah, the sky's all cleared. Gonna fix the damn votex fin today.

Would be meeting the guys and Huiyue later for dinner.

Exams are such cheap thrills. Sheesh.

I leave you with this short story.

A policeman was questioning a witness at the crime scene, "Did you see how the rapist look like?"
The tortise answered, "Everything... hap...pens...soo..... fast."

The..... End.

Get a life now and go away. Have a smashing week ahead.

Road Talk

Was looking through my photos, and I thought this is one of the most interesting I have ever took.

It's a picture of the present, the future and a wish.

Plain Talk

As I was leaving the office building yesterday, I bumped into the Chairman.

One who owns ships and containers, with assets all over the world.

Old. And frail. But rich.

Filthy rich.

Blackathy, 12:18 PM

Shirt Talk

You guys oughta keep today's copy of Urban. Frame it up, do whatever you want... just don't throw it away.

Find out which collars suit you, or how threadcount could affect the quality of your shirt.

Just yesterday, Thomas and I went to OUB Plaza to look at custom-made shirts. Prices range from S$80 - S$250. Alternatively, you can try making one at CYC, frequently shopped by the who's who.

Sze Cheng, one of our tutors, said, "We are really sorry to the one we love most."

Agree?

Loss For Words

To whom who called me this evening, cry no more. Be strong. Perhaps he's really not the one for you. Btw, u pen well in your blog. It reflects my thoughts as well. Smile k.

Huiyue, thanks for letting me know you're interested. Would be meeting the guys this Saturday evening. Time and venue yet to be confirmed. No minimum age.

Would be investing USD400 this coming 12th. (cyj, note, not the 10th anymore. But you guys could prolly credit the cash earlier. We'll meet up and discuss how much you guys want to invest.)

Once again, I state I do not represent Swiss Cash. I do not receive any commissions, benefit in anyway or whatsoever. Just there to explain to everyone how it works. It's really up to you to see if you dare to take the risk. I'm in no ways liable if you lose your principal amount. My advice... invest a sum of money that you're comfortable with. It'll take about 7 months to fully receive your principal amount. And you'll get to receive the other 200% for the next 8 months.

If the rest of you do not dare to take the risk, but wants to earn interest while saving your money, I recommend you Standard Chartered's e$aver program.

It acts as a savings account. Fuss-free. No statements, no passbooks, no atm cards. Transactions are done fully online.

What else...
- NO lock-in period.
- NO monthly fees.
- NO minimum deposit.
- NO minimum balance.
- NO fixed term.

Open the account with a minimum S$1 deposit. And you get to close the account anytime you like, without paying any penalty charge.

e$aver allows you to transfer funds via Internet Banking (up to $10,000 daily), Phone Banking or withdraw cash at their branches. But note, there is a S$5 subcharge.

What's the interest rate?

2.45% p.a. interest rate applies to deposit amounts of $50,000 and above. For deposit amounts of less than $50,000, 1.88% p.a. interest rate will apply.

Which is pretty high for a savings account.

Find out more @ Standard Chartered.

Good night. Have to study tomorrow. Sigh.

I am by no means an agent. Am just sharing with the guys.

That's all. Back to work.

My Day

I was at work today, rushing to complete the MIS project. Took the entire morning and yes, it's finally ready for submission. Editing can be such a pain. Vogue should hire me!

Felt bad about lying to HK, but I thought I should give that company a shot. Oh, SH's in labour! Yippee! Now waiting for Sandy's turn. Poor guys though. Left only 5 planners to cover everyone's asses.

Rushed to Car Beauty after lunch. Damn votex fin can't be fixed today because of the downpour. It's funny to see everyone turn on their hazard lights along ECP. So Christmasy. Vision was really bad, but I couldn't care less. I had only 15 minutes to get to Habour Front.

The interview was kinda light-hearted, with the Japanese boss, the marketing manager and Elaine. The funniest part was when he asked me to sing. Which I told him I can't, but could substitute with piano-playing.

I thought interviews were redundant. I mean, obviously we say things they want to hear! The Japanese boss asked me what I think of the company and I went, "It emphasizes on branding. Just look at all the advertising. Prints, magazines, radio.... it has a competitve advantage over its competitors."

And then the manager asked, "How do you think you could contribute to the company?"

"The job scope of the marketing assistant helps collect and process data into information for analysis. If there is discrepancies in the data, knowledge gained could prove to be useless."

So MIS. Sheesh.

Good thing they didn't ask how I could value-add. That question has always dumbfounded me.

On the whole, the interview went smoothly. BUT I STILL DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH I WOULD BE PAID!?!

Nothing said about the wages. Nothing said about the benefits. Nothing. Sheesh... and they said they have to discuss among themselves first.

If another interview is to be conducted, I guess I would give it a miss. I don't know what other excuses to give HK anymore! Sigh, forgo the new job, stick with my present company and enjoy my six months bonus.

Let's see how things go.

*Envy* Saw 2 ladies carrying LV bags today. The Bastille and the Messenger. So nice.

The rain reminded me of many things. Someone called up Class95 this evening and said during his school days, everyone love rainy days. It's those moments where you can actually 'dress up'. Still can remember Daniel wanted to get a white Emporio Armani windbreaker.

A Date Tomorrow

A lady, Elaine, called this evening. She wants me over at her place tomorrow. At 1530H.

How to? I'm now seeking for an excuse to take half day leave. Sigh.

I wish I knew how Elaine looks like. Soon. That is if I'm hired.

I would be meeting a Japanese man instead.

My future boss-to-be. Heh.

2nd interview. I wonder what it would be like.

Perhaps would go to Ubi again to do up the car. Stupid votex fin don't stay firmly on the roof. Must complain to Car Beauty. May want to do my triangle sticker or the tail lights at Johnson's. Or get the wire mesh at McWell. But then again... no money liao.

Wish me all the best.
(Totally need it. Not done with the editing of the MIS project + BE tutorial + exams).

Welcome, Shuyun.

Clockery Cock

A man calls up a woman.

This following dialogue was made by the woman.

How old is that cock?
Seventy-five years is not old for a cock.
You're welcome to bring in your cock... the small cock.
I need to see it. Your small cock.
I have alot here too. Alot different cocks. Over a hundred cocks.
I have certified cock-makers here. They can explain what happens to your cock.

It's funny if you realise the man was referring to his grandfather clock. Except that the Korean clock-lady couldn't pronouce the word 'clock'.

PM me if you want the audio file.

Thanks, Xinhui.

Life

Love does not require 2 people to look at each other, but that they look together in the same direction.

A little girl was trapped in a burning flat. The only way to escape was to jump out of her windows. She lived on the eighth storey.

The father was standing on the ground floor. "Jump, my girl, jump. Don't worry. Daddy is here to catch hold of you."

Comfort zone.

Picture yourself as that little girl. Would you have been able to overcome that height barrier, pluck yourself out of your comfort zone and make that jump?

Many times in life we face disappointments, rejections and whatnot. Sometimes we don't have the courage to fight on. Sometimes we play peek-a-boo. We hide, we run. Sometimes we think we lack the strength and the boldness to deal with problems in life.

Maybe we don't have that strength.

I believe God is like that daddy. Waiting for us to take that jump. To catch hold of us. Into His embrace, experiencing His love, security and warmth.

Where Do You Come From?

It's interesting to find out how many people visit this place. But it's amazing to know where people come from. Heh. Some damn boliao. Can come back here 14 times a day. Anyway, welcome.

StatCounter captures the path people take: the entry/exit pages, where people come from, what keyword they use, the visit lengths, the visit paths and return paths... (Don't you think it's sad you have just become a stat?)

It even tells if you're using Starhub Maxonline, which country you're from and if this is your first time visit or your returning visit.

There are people from Singapore, Malaysia, Canada, Spain, Netherlands, the States, the UK, Bolivia, and Chile.

Sigh, and no one bothers to say hello.

Basket.

And now, it seems I only have one faithful reader: Annoymous/ FullSTOP. Whatever he-she calls it. Welcome. Heh.

Shopping

I went Orchard alone for a 'lil while. Found out the actual price of a Broadway is S$1590. They reduced it by S$20! Machiam damn big deal. Heh.

Was really tempted to get the business card-holder, but I'm left with bare minimum this month (though pay day was just 4 days ago). I have to pay dad S$1400 and the rest goes to the savings account. And I have yet to activate the e$avings @ Standard Chartered.

Anyway, was really shocked to find out Tongying had gotten a LV coin purse. She's like the last person I know who would spend on such stuff lah. Lulu was tempted, and got herself one as well early this afternoon. Machiam LV got sale like that.

Yeap, so this card holder would be in my KIV list. For now, I have to plan my expenditures. I've been spending more than what I earned for the past 3 months.

Save Water

Current Pte Ltd offers an interesting way of cleaning your car, without the use of water. Introducing to you... the No-Wet car care products.

Independent studies shows that a single hand wash produces scratches 1/10 times as deep as the paint's thickness. Repeated abrasive scouring destroys the paint's ability to maintain a shine and provide protection against rust and corrosion.

How is NO-WET Waterless Car Wash and Wax superior to traditional car washes?

- NO-WET promises to save time and money
- Cleans, shines and protects in one, easy application
- ALL paints, clear coats, rubber, vinyl & plastic surfaces.
- Even remove stains from the inside of your vehicle, rugs, seats, headliners etc...
- No need to buy expensive car wash soaps, waxes, sealants, vinyl cleaners

NO-WET Protects Your Vehicle
- Contains the finest CARNAUBA WAX which provides a very hard film over your vehicle's surface to protect against acid rain residue, catalytic converter emissions, bugs, tar, road grime, bird droppings, and salt
- Restores your paint finish by removing oxidation
- Stops damage from oxidation, UV rays, acid rain, salt and pollution

Try No-Wet at SPC Petrol Station, 76 Yio Chu Kang Road.

Alternatively, you can order No-Wet online.

Thanks, Benjamin.

Money Talk

Been approached a couple of times about Swiss Cash.

I received a text from Swiss Cash just now. The SwissCash Investment Plan (SIP) celebrates its 1st year. =)

The SIP program allows us to invest a comfortable sum of money, a minimum of USD100. Regardless of the economy, the rate going by is 1.7, i.e. USD1 = SDG1.70.

The SIP is a very simple financial facility. It only requires an investor to invest a certain amount of money for a scheduled fixed return. Payment schedules are very clear and known to all investors.

Here is an example of a SIP:

Principal: Amount that you invested in SIP = USD100

Frequency of Payments: Every 30 calendar days

Amount of payment: 10% on first three payments, 15% on next three, 20% on next three, 25% on next three and 30% on last three

Number of Payments: 15

Total Returns: 300% returns in 450 days.

Investors need not worry about their payoffs because SwissCash gives its investors a guaranteed fixed return. An average of 20% return for every 30 calender days.

This kind of Financial Facility is different from the conventional Mutual Trust Fund or bank's Fixed/Time Deposit that offers an average of 3-6% Interest per annum or Unit Trust whereby your fund grows or shrinks in tandem with market force and fluctuation.

In summary, SwissCash Financial Facility offers you with a high Return on Investment and minimal downside risk.

The image above shows a stimulation on the returns based on the principal amount of USD100. It also shows the dates of the payoffs if I choose to invest today.

SIP is suitable for people who wants to invest, but do not have much to start with, or wants to face minimum risk.

Ask me if you require anymore information. Else drop by Swiss Cash.
