Chn 8 has the most interesting shows these days. Called the 'A Planners', the hosts would think of creative ideas to bring the parties outdoors! Then there's another program where parents exchange their children for a day.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Saving money is such a bitch!

I stash away over 30% of my mearge net income, leaving me with a couple of hundreds. Then I take away another $150 for my bills, which meant I'm left with nothing much.

Saving can be such a bitch when I had to turn down Michelle's request to eat lunch at Pasta Mania, Gwen's at Sakae and Elizabeth and Jasmine's at Pizza Hut. I had mee hoon kuay with Jonathan and FC at the stinkin' food court instead.

Saving can be such a bitch when you convinced yourself not to overspend but ended up spending the extras on presents. Within 2 months, $950 went to 3 presents.

Saving can be such a bitch when you have to set aside $60 each weekend to pump petrol.

Saving can be such a bitch when you choose to walk home from the train station in a bid to save a couple of cents.

Saving can be such a bitch when you choose to take the train when you're dog tired.

Saving can be such a bitch when you have to eat maggie mee and save up that $3 prolly for a better meal over the weekends.

Saving can really be a bitch when you decided to buy the bag only to be reminded you need to pay school fees the next day.

Saving can be such a bitch when you have to save for a rainy day when you don't even buy umbrellas when it rains.

Ok, last point is stupid lah.

Jonathan continued to update me his wedding expenditures. With $3300+ for his wedding package, he paid another $5000+ for 70 over photos. Wth. Then as we were talking, he spotted a $50 bill at the foot of a woman. We were discussing how to retrieve that note.

FC got up and asked, "Can I have this chair?" and proceeded to drag that chair, with the $50 note under the legs of that chair. Too bad the woman saw it and kept that note in her pocket.

KNS! That could be our lunch money for the week lor!

But really kns if the money dun belong to her in the first place.

See... saving can be such a bitch!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Aritey. This post would be picture-less, 'xcept for the wallet above, which imho is a really great buy.

But I have come to understand the female readers don't really quite appreciate the stuff. In fact, the people who have been asking me are guys! Pity there is no stock for guys. And the other 2 of you... so sweet, want to buy for gfs. And nope, I'm not getting 'cus I'm penniless. As in no money.

Just in case, you read it as penis-less.

Any-o-how, I have wanted to put up 3 photos. One of my lunch: a boiled Bockwrust and an oven-heated pizza. But I thought otherwise, because it didn't look quite appetizing.

Been having runs this morning. Prolly not 'cus of the pizza, but some Japanese chicken I had the previous night. As in the meat. Not the *ahem*...

Just in case you misinterpreted it again.

Had decided against posting the other 2 photos 'cus later all of you think I chee-ko-peh go take pictures of girls' legs. 2 pairs of killer heels were the focal point of my topic. One was really pretty. As in the shoes. Again just in case. But it's also funny to see how the girl wobbles in 'em.

The other pair was a replica of Gucci. I thought it was the real stuff when I saw someone from the B@nk wearing this striped power suit, with her Fendi bag. Until her heels slipped. Chey. Prolly from some C&K.

Have you read the newspaper recently? One of the 'gossip talks' showcase the 'IT' bags. With Hermes' Birkins, Fendi's Spy, Prada and Chanel leading the way, more women are bagging these expensive well, bags. Even Gucci has joined the race, with its limited edition 'Bouvier'. Ask me the price. It would make you cry. Increasing number of women are spending more than S$30k on EACH of these bags.

S$30k can get me another degree!

Suddenly, LV seems so affordable!

What to do? These people earn more than S$100k annually.

Talking about degree, I'm so depressed over the two papers I had. I really dunno if I can make it. The girl beside me terrified me. For each of the essay questions, she wrote more than 2 pages lah! Machiam paper free sia.

Ok, technically, the papers are free. But then... kns! Her hands not tired meh? I looked at my own paper and sighed again. Most of the time, I don't even know wth I was writing! Or was I even writing?

I was so down in my mouth, I wanted to buy myself a pair of Gucci shoes. But at the same time, I was so down in my financial status, I couldn't afford S$700 for 'em. I thought they cost S$400 max.

Right. I know I have posted millions of pictures of this bag before. But I really need you to vote now. Is this bag even nice????? I love it too much to be judgemental. Help!

I developed fever again. Prolly due to the KFC I had this afternoon, much to Gerrie's disapproval. Regretted it. I was thinking if I should order it again for tomorrow's lunch. Oh well...

Spotted a gorgeous lady, dressed in hot pink coat, and it took this couple 5 hours to pick her up. Whoever takes so long to do their grocery?

Any-o-how, enjoy these pictures while I lay someone lie in bed.

The pink lady. I went up to her and she told me her name's Silvia. What a nurse!

UWA people loves fish balls. I prefer mine.

Earl Grey me anytime.

Would like to apologise to a few people, whom I hadn't reply to 'cus of the upcoming paper. To Thomas, who was so kind to offer free tix to a show. Pity I had classes that Friday.

To Rick, who saw Vincent.

To cyj, who said hello.

To WK, who is still in China.

And many thanks to those who wished me well. To Elizabeth and Gwen. To HQ, Thomas and Sop.

In addition, my gratitude to those who had assisted me in my fish ball project. To the two ladies at the B@nk. To Abdul, Jesica, HK, Carmelita from PIL. To Alex from Hyundai. To HF from P&O. To the lecturers @ NP who taught me well. And to my group members - Kenny, David, Sop & Vanessa, for the co-ordination. (But remember to fine-tune your English. At least ensure it's grammatically correct. We're in 3rd year already! And I really dunno why people like to use 'I', 'We', 'Our' in formal reports. It's so primary school! Always write it from a 3rd party's POV.)

Hugs to Gerrie, who has been a constant support. You're amazing. I love you.

To the rest of the world: Good night.

Had only 2 hours of sleep this morning before I went for the paper. Had my usual dose of caffine and ended up having a 'lil run. Gosh, terrible morning. I couldn't even breathe. The doc had advised me to stay away from air-con.

1 more paper to go. And I'll say goodbye to Authur Wilson and Larry.

Bags

Pun of the day: IMF stands for I'M Fucked.
Projects and exams make me sick.

Ladies, listen up. Here's a deal for you. If anyone of you are interested in Gucci wallets and bags, or Coach bags, PM me. I would send some photos over. Prices are discounted, 'cus the bags are directly imported. I've seen the collection. Pretty neat stuff. If you worry abt the authenticity, I don't mind helping you to verify at our local boutiques before making the payment. Note, I'm not the one selling. Just that one of my friends have this deal.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I came into the office sneezing. The office wasn't freezing, but I was feelin' terrible. I was on a 2-hours course in the late morning, and thank goodness there's Jonathan. Knew him from the Induction course and we have been missing out on lunch dates. Pity I couldn't join him and the girls on Friday for the B@nk's Amazing Race. Neither am I going on the same day as 'em for another course. I'll be going with Samantha instead.

Over lunch, he was sharing with me his wedding preparations. He had spent $30k on his furniture for his new executive home, wedding package and church service. The service itself would cost $4k already.

At this rate, how to get married?

Anyway, I brought him to a 2nd hand shop. Once again, I saw the bag I had wanted to get. They are selling for $1050!!! But I have to reconsider, 'cus that money can be used to pay some of my school fees.

Then there's the ever-elegant Chanel. But it's even more expensive than LV!

I saw this bag in black, selling for $950. According to the owner, it's hovering at $2k in the boutique.

The average girls would not look nice with it. The girl has to be rich, pretty, elegant and has a good figure. Just like Audrey.

See... the bag!

Here she is was...

A lady of style and poise.

I shall end here with 2 jokes. I'm sure the jokes are sufficient enough to make the bimbotic us laugh for at least one whole day, while I go lie in bed.

It feels nice to be sick once in awhile.

1. If dove is a bird of peace, what is the bird of love?

Swallow.

2. A man goes into an American restaurant and orders a burger. He waited for 20 minutes and got irritated.

His voice boomed across the restaurant, "Waitress, how long is my burger?"

The waitress replied, "Sir, the burger is round."

Now, laugh.

Sat Me Down

Turn on your speakers now.

With this set-up,

you'll experience this noise. Am selling the open pod. Let me know if anyone of you is interested.

With K&N drop-in filter,

you'll experience this.

Cost me $160. KNS. But I wasn't left with much choice. I can stand the noise no more. In the 2nd video, my cds were flung to the floor when I did the cornering, thus the creaking sound.

Was at the garage today and saw a few cars that were pretty cool. I was admiring two Civics owned by two brothers. Made my Blackathy look damn lousy sia. Even the Vios next to me so damn fierce can.

I was on my way to Tanjong Pagar to collect my clothes and saw this fugly car. Seriously, I think the driver has no fashion sense and I'm sure he has bad sex life. Who would ever make love in this kind of car?!?

Then I also saw a cab! It's not your usual Toyota, but a Volkswagen mpv taxi! I've seen Skoda and I heard they are powerful. Since I got nothing to do, so I took a ride in that Volkswagen. Nothing special leh. In fact, I still prefer the conventional Toyota. Of course, the Mercedes beats hands-down.

I went shopping with Gwen this afternoon. This lass trusts my taste and wants me to go with her on a shopping trip after pay day. I was at Accessorize. Stuff are pretty costly there but I thought they have really nice things there. It makes those girlie shops at FEP, Heeren and Bugis look bad. Oh, I saw this lady's bag. Super cool can!!!

Chanel is one awesome brand.

But I guess Coach is one of the better buys. There's really no point in spending too much on LV. Pity they do not have nice bags for guys at Coach.

Met up with Gerrie for dinner at Kenny Rogers. Saw a familiar face and I was so glad she agreed to give me some info pertaining to a small portion of my project. I've been reading my poly notes and I suddenly think logistics can be so fun. Minus the warehouse part though.

We went almost every jewellery shops and I managed to get a diamond pendant at the end of the day. Soo Kee wasn't too bad, it took 'em quite long to serve us drink though. A small bottle of mineral water. The salesman at SK was polite, but was acting too meek. The stuff there wasn't that good. The salesgirl at Goldheart, however, was professional. I was served by a trainee at Lee Hwa and he didn't have the sales tactics. Bonus point? We were both served tea.

Sigh, my readers can be so rude. Come here, yet nv give any feedback. Less mamoyo, jonnyboy, muffins and yunkai. Even the famous M@l@ysian blogger has voted! (Edit: & lala) Thank you boy, thanks girls.

Aritey, let's do the vote once more.

'Cus I'm not done with the shopping yet.

In the girlie's perspectives, would you rather have...

1. a diamond pendant

2. a pair of diamond earrings

3. this necklace

4. or this necklace

5. or this necklace

Make your vote now.

Eat My Friday

Boss decided to bring the birthday party ahead. She and the VP went to Mhd. Sultan to collect the cake. And when they returned, everyone just couldn't take their eyes off. The cake, of course.

Everyone went 'Ooh' and 'Ahh' over the towering piece of flour. But let's not blame them. After all, the cake cost $150.

Boss had bought the cake from her friend's shop for the September babies, including herself. And I guess $150 means nothing to most of 'em. Many of 'em actually wanted to order one for the upcoming Christmas. Actually, it does make sense. The cake's cheaper than buying a tree.

Everyone stopped their work and rushed to take pictures of the 100-balls cake. And when you work in an all-girls team, you can't help but also kaypoh.

Isn't she a beauty? With this kinda price-tag, no one would ever smash the cake into your face. Go get your own moisturizer, I say. I want the cake.

The birthday girls were treated to a surprise. Some of the girls and I started to sing this cheer song, adapted from Fish & Co. Pictures were taken, gifts were distributed and it's time to cut the cake. I mean, pluck the cake.

This is one of the balls. Okay, that sounded quite wrong. But you can't deny its cuteness. Then again, no matter how cute the balls are, they are still meant to be eaten. And btw, my balls are far cuter.

Stop fantasizing. Focus. Yes, the balls. Not mine. The cake's. Sigh. You girls.

Lunch was really heavy. I had 4 sets of lunch can! After the cakes, Gwen asked me to join her and two other colleagues for lunch. I was introduced to these girls and we had McDonald's. And I had noodles back in the office later. And then chicken briyani.

I know. Say no more.

I went to Lee Hwa this afternoon and saw 4 pieces of jewellery. I need you people to take a vote. From the girlies' perspective, would you rather have :

1. a diamond pendant?

2. a pair of earrings?

3. this bag?

4. this bag?

5. iPod nano?

6. Or a Balmain watch?

I want all of you to vote! Please! Including those visitors brought here by Gus. I know Gus have been introducing the world to Blackathy.

Btw, I know one of you has bought a Lancer and want to take a look at some mods. I may want to do drop-in, so if you're interested in open pod, take a look at this. I have only use this for a week. $80, including the pipe and this.

Let me know. =)

Alright people, remember to vote k!

I apologise for not updating, 'cus of my work. I have been coming home straight after work to do my project. I haven't been taking Gerrie home after her work and I have also miss the shopping trip with Gwen and the 2 girls tonight. I've been thinking of writing a post to explain why men have flings. Guess that would have to come later.

I would like to say a word of thanks to PIL and Trade services at the B@nk for your advices for my project. Though I'm not exactly sure how it really helps. Thanks all the same. It's really appreciated. =)

Have a horrible weekend, please. Don't make me jealous.

Guideline For Your Payroll

To all Employees:

Effective from NOW!!

Dress Code
1. It is advised that you come to work dressed according to your salary. If we see you wearing Prada shoes and carrying a Gucci bag, we assume you are doing well financially and therefore do not need a pay raise.

2. If you dress poorly, you need to learn to manage your money better, so that you may buy nicer clothes, and therefore you do not need a pay raise.

3. If you dress just right, you are right where you need to be and therefore you do not need a pay raise.

Sick Days
We will no longer accept a doctor's certificate as proof of sickness.
If you are able to go to the doctor, you are able to come to work.

Holiday Days
Each employee will receive 104 personal days a year. They are called Saturday & Sunday.

Compassionate Days
This is no excuse for missing work. There is nothing you can do for dead friends, relatives or co-workers. Every effort should be made to have non-employee attend to the arrangements.

In rare cases where employee involvement is necessary, the funeral should be scheduled in the late afternoon. We will be glad to allow you to work through your lunch hour and subsequently leave one hour early.

Toilet Use
1. Entirely too much time is being spent in the toilet. There is now a strict three-minute time limit in the cubicles.

2. At the end of the three minutes, an alarm will sound, the toilet paper roll will retract, the cubicle door will open, and your picture will be taken.

3. After your second offence, your picture will be posted on the company notice board under the 'Chronic Offenders' category.

4. Anyone caught smiling in the picture will be sanctioned under the company's mental health policy.

Lunch Break
1. Skinny people get 30 minutes for lunch, as they need to eat more so that they can look healthy.

2. Normal size people get 15 minutes for lunch to get a balanced meal to maintain their average figure.

3. Chubby people get 5 minutes for lunch, because that's all the time needed to drink a Slim-Fast.

Thank you for your loyalty to our company. Remember, we are an employer of choice and we are here to provide a positive employment experience.

Therefore, all questions, comments, concerns, complaints, frustrations, irritations, aggravations, insinulations, allegations, accusations, contemplations, consternation and input should be directed elsewhere.

Management

P.S. I actually believed this mail until I came to the 'Toilet Use' part. I thought HR wasn't happy with what I wear. Especially my tight pants that exposes the huge *ahem* nvm.

I can be such a himbo. Shootz.

Eating Habits

Short Talk:

Ben the Weasel suggests we all eat stingray for the entire week.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

In a bid to start our detox program, Gwen and I decided to eat a little for lunch. At the same time, we save money and convserve energy for work later. We shopped at Carrefour and thought the salad didn't look that good. She got herself a slice of pineapple, while I decided I should have chicken pie for lunch.

Things didn't quite go according to plan. We each had a plate of mee fen.

As part of the Liveit! promotion, we were given 2 hours off last month. This month, we were each given a huge box of assorted fruits. I ate the entire box, less the pear and kiwi.

And I just developed a little tummy problem.

What a day!

LiveIt!

Sunday

After sending Gerrie to work, I had about 1.5hrs before meeting my mates and I decided to go Ikea.

Look, it's a bridge. Wah!

Ikea was crowded as usual. Especially the restaurant. I immediately missed the wings there. I ended up spending $21 on 7 glass bottles.

I had set my mind on eating their hotdogs but the Q was horrible. But I saw the chocolates Gwen gave me the other day. Daim. I remembered I offered 'em to the other ladies, but they didn't like caramel. Oh well.

It's only when I left Ikea did I know Gwen had wanted to come along as well.

To make my weekend more exciting, I decided to visit a ghost town. Raffles Place. I was waiting for the rest to reach but had to drive off at the sight of tr@ff1c w@rden5.

I was so sure parking today was free, but ended up paying $3.

The weather was really weird today. It rained heavily and then it stopped. Then it started to pour again, as if someone has just turned on the water tap. And guess what? It stopped again!

Then it poured.

And it stopped.

Then it poured.

And... K, I shall stop here. You get the drift.

Gerrie was just 1 block away from me, but it suddenly seemed so far

Project discussion didn't really go that well. There are alot of questions yet to be answered. Oh well. Exams are nearing and I'm beginning to feel that heat.

G4 is so cool! Reminds me of Minority Report. I also want Apple!

Upon reaching home, I packed my room and put the bottles into use! Shall use 'em to collect all my coins. Ah... they can be used for decorative purposes and helps me save at the same time. Nice.

(from left to right) $1, $0.50, $0.20, $0.10, $0.05

Donation, anyone?
