Chocolate Talk

Went to Geraldine's church to wait for her to finish her class. Was reading the PSA Peugeot Citroen case study in the car. Felt so hot. The wait took me 2 hours. By the time she came down, I was baked.
Unexpectedly, Amoy was open on Sunday. It seemed so familiar yet the feeling is different just because there was no crowd. No people in office wear. Lunch was arite. Almost puked when I ate the pork though.
Anyway, the highlight of the day was the cakes from Canele. It is a subset of Le Amis Group. Canele Patisserie- Chocolaterie boutique is located at Robertson Walk. At the Courtyard, near Double O. In the day-time, the Courtyard presents itself in a different light. An expensive town, with wine bars sprouting almost everywhere.
Geraldine and I shared a Royale and a Mango Shortcake, with 2 pots of Earl Grey. The Royale was so sinful, with layers of chocolate and moose and hazelnuts. Each bite is so heavenly, sending waves of orgasm. Mango Shortcake is no less delicious. The aroma of Earl Grey was so thick and the taste just melts you.
The slices are quite small though, but the richness of it fills the tummy fast. Each slice goes about S$7. The total cost came up about S$20. Now, it's Canele or Canele. No other substitutes. Cakes from Starbucks and Coffee Bean pale in comparison.
Guys, if you seriously want to impress a lady, book a cake from Canele. The packaging is really nice. It comes in a black and pink box. Not too expensive also. Over S$70 for one.
Canele is always packed though, with expariates and tai tais living nearby in those service apartments and condos. You would have to reserve a table, with them holding it for you for only ten minutes.
Am still doing the case study. One of my members has flown away and I gotta do her part. The other two have trouble doing theirs and asked me to help them. Sigh. In another couple of hours, I have to bring my family to the airport. They're flying to Taiwan! So good. Never mind. I would be going to Malaysia on my own. Hrumph.
Good night.
