How Do You Know You're Stylish?

I love receiving compliments. Who doesn't?

I like it when girls say I look good or dress well. I like it when girls say I smell nice. I like it when girls like my taste. I like it when girls appreciate me giving them comments.

But that wouldn't be the highest compliment. Because it's natural for girls to be attracted to the opposite sex.

Although it was weird, I felt good when Tam's guy friend said I got nice ass.

Just today, I was walking past this car when this man was looking at me. I knew it wasn't because of the Burberry shirt, or Gucci belt. It couldn't be because of my Calvins. After walking a distance away from the car, I turned to look back and could see that man was still looking at me from his side mirror.

Strange. But it felt good.

Took the public transport this morning to meet the girls. It's been a long time since I last took a bus. My Ezlink card has ran out of credits, so I slot in coins into the machine. Except that I put in 80 cents. I had really thought that bus ride would cost only $0.80. Blurdy bus driver shouted at me, "Oei! It's 90 cents!" Fine. So I shortchanged her 10 cents. Big deal. I gave her another 10 cents to shut her up.

In the train, I saw this guy wearing a shirt with wing collars. I gave a grunt of disapproval. Stupid.

Collars are the most important part of dress shirts details for its overall styling because it draws attention to your face as well as giving an illusion of shaping it. It all depends on the type of your face. Men with small faces should avoid wide collars otherwise the collar will overwhelm the face. Similarly, big faced men should avoid wearing narrow collars since it will enhance further the size of their head.

That guy was prolly wearing Raoul, based on the material. But so what? It's not as if he was wearing a tux with that wing-collared shirt. Worse, he was wearing cufflinks with jeans. Wtf!

Cufflinks worn with a casual shirt may possibly be overdressed. And please! Avoid wearing cufflinks with jeans and sneakers!

Hinge on variations of silver, gold, dark blue, and red if something toned down is preferred. These classic colours will ensure you always look good at any occasion.

Consider accessories that go well with cufflinks. Avoid gold cufflinks with a stainless steel watch underneath.

In fact, double-cuff shirts are meant to go with a suit and not wore per se. But because of the weather here, it has become socially acceptable.

Oh well... it's an ongoing process in knowing the right type of shirts to wear at the appropriate times.

Talking about shopping, was really excited. The moment I stepped out of Isetan lift, I was slapped with the word "SALE" plastered all over. Celine 70%. Burberry 70%. Decided not to spend anymore money. I didnt' even get the Zara shirts which I liked so much, even though Geraldine offered to buy for me.

We didn't do much shopping. Amid all similarities, we don't really like to shop during the weekends. Too crowded. We ended up only getting her Dior stuff and yes, I satisfied my seafood urge at Ambush. Lovely.

No cakes tonight though. By the time we reached Mount Emily, Hang Out was already closed.

There's something about growing old. Taste changes. Instead of chilling out at bars, I now prefer cakes and tea. Romance me with Earl Grey anytime, coupled with a strawberry shortcake. Sweet.

Don't care. I'll have my cakes tomorrow.

Met Jayne and Bee Ying this afternoon. Jayce has a Tiffany. Omg. Rich.

For those of you who are thinking of getting diamonds, Goldheart is having a 50% sale. Not sure if it applies only to those who have UOB cards though.

There's this website which lets you design your own engagement ring.

This is what Geraldine had done.

Oh, I think her 2nd design is much nicer.

Aright. Good night. Very sleepy.

Edit: Am addicted to 'So You Think You Can Dance' after watching the clips at Lynette's. Go here to watch all the clips.

This is one of my favourites. Argentine Tango.

On a ligher note, Japanese men can be so lame. Men in swim suits. Crappy but funny.

For those of you who are sex-starved, enjoy this.
