Shopping Trip

Gosh! I was dreaming when Jesica called. I picked up the phone and was shocked! I WAS LATE FOR WORK LAR!

She called me at 0900H, wondering if I was still sick. I took a quick shower and drove to work. Parked Blackathy and then took a cab to my office. Ended up over an hour late. Boss wasn't too happy about it, said I have been missing quite frequently despite me joining the company only recently. Sigh. It's not as if I wanted to. Interviews are held during office hours mah. Heh. K lar, my fault.

Wanted to get mom a watch but thought the guy version looks nice as well. Didn't really know if I should get it, so paid $10 as deposit for them to reserve the two watches.

Oh, and gracias to Carissa! The other day I was in Malaysia, she informed me the date of sale Raoul was having. Today, brought Thomas there and the crowd was overwhelming! We took our time to choose. Fitting rooms were closed, so we can't really try it on.

3 X 1 ply shirts = $150

2 X 2 ply shirts + 1 X 1 ply shirts = $180
2 X 1 ply shirts + 1 X 2 ply shirts = $180

3 X 2 ply shirts = $200

Shoes, belts, ties and cufflinks were going for massive discounts as well! I had so much fun choosing.

Ended up buying a pink shirt for myself and a white one for dad. Thomas had one for himself as well.

Damn cheap can!

U.P. $145 e.a.
S.P. $67
Save $78

Am going to alter the shirt, so ended up saving $60!

Talking about alteration, I had my Zara tailored at Alter Pro. Charged me $28. But I went to one at Tanjong Pagar to do my Burberry and she charged me only $18. Conclusion: Raffles Place stuff are more expensive.

Met Geraldine after work at OUB. She liked the watch, so I paid for the two.

I thought the watches were good buys. Automatic with 21 jewels. Need no batteries. I love it so much. What attracted me is the Romans lettering. The calender can also be tuned to Romans'. Best thing is it's limited. One pair only. =)

Went back to Raoul with her. Saw this blue shirt. Oh my gosh, loved it so much! I'm really hoping they still have it tomorrow. The crowd this evening was amazing. Suffocating might be the right word. Going to meet Thomas (from class), Derek, Eddy and some of my colleagues would be going there too! So fun! But my wallet is crying out loud. Sigh. To give you a feel of how 'young' my colleagues are, they were talking about viagra today. Sheesh. Still ask me if I want or not. Purlease.

Geraldine treated me to a meal at Sakae. Haven't been there for the longest time though. Couple of years prolly. Was good. Loved its salmon, eel and scallop. After dinner, within half an hour, she did her shopping. Ended up with 3 tank tops and a clutch bag.

Heard over the radio that loving to shop is pre-determined during the pregnancy stage.

Anyway, met the boys after sending her home. Leong's singing blew me away. Sounded like the real thing. Had a glass of Carlsberg before I left. Yup, just when I'm having asthma. How healthy uh!

Was worried when an entourage of bobbies were surrounding my Blackathy this evening. Lucky they were escorting some big fucks and left me alone.

Mom called me just now. Happy to hear her voice. Haha, said Taiwan was damn boring. Would get you the watch soon, my dear. Prolly just before you come back. At the most, bring you out for shopping. You'll get to choose the watch you like.

Aritey, going to bed now. Wouldn't want Boss to call me tomorrow morning, would I?
