Portugese Love Theme
(Sidetrack. JJ, glad you like the song too. It's too beautiful beyond words. I guess it's the meaning behind the song where the man went against language barriers, fought his insecurities and fears and ran to find the love of his life. The song starts off slow and then it reaches a stage where all feelings flow and that's the orgasm part.)
Would like to thank Gerrie for accomodating my lunch hour. Have been meeting her for lunch for these 2 days. Used to run out during *ahem* unofficial hours to lunch with her, but Jesica wasn't too happy about it and Boss happened to send us all an email about punctuality today. Tomorrow would be the last day I would see her this week. Hopefully we can lunch again. Yes Dear, would be sending you and your mom off tomorrow evening.
I don't exactly know how to make a girl happy. Or to make her smile when she's sad. I am so pathetic when it comes to telling jokes. Yes, even lame ones.
KB was so nice today to have come pick me up to have supper. Tonight's talk made me realise the importance of saving. Been spending too much this year. Received a statement from POSB stating my expenditure this year amounts to $12,000 to date. Yet to receive a statement from UOB. Sigh. Prolly have to reconsider my priorities.
There's this financial planner, Liru, who kept calling me. I don't know what I had done but she somehow comprehended that I was interested in meeting her. Sales people can be so funny sometimes.
Oh, I was shocked this afternoon when I was asked to pay $8.40 for 4 passport-sized photos. I thought the market rate is only $6. Sianz.
But I got a pretty nice deal today. I got a Bed Head Manipulator wax for only $28! Years of using Reds' $45 wax have been making me broke. So finally... decided to make a switch of brands. I dunno about you guys, but I don't like Gatsby. Ask any hair stylist and they would say it's a no-no.
Got so many things to get/do.
By July, would like to:
1. Get 2 pair of pants from Zara
2. Alter my Zara jacket and pants
3. Send 2 of my Zara jackets for dry-cleaning
4. Cleanser, moisturizer
5. Thread my eyebrows
And by the end of this year, would like to:
1. Get a pair of black pointed leather shoes (I adore the way H5BC bankers dress!!!)
2. Get a pair of specs
Another day has gone by. Am going to bed soon. Have I said I love my bed? No matter how I stretch my legs and hands, I can never cover the ends of the bed.
