Sunday Lunch

The missus gave a wonderful performance this morning. Was enchanted by her playing, watching her fingers flirted on the piano. Was sunk in reverie as time stagnated, allowing the pieces to flow beautifully. Never knew the piano could produce such mesmerizing music.

The missus decided we would have pasta for lunch. So I took her to Pasta Fresca, our first time at an authentic Italian restaurant. Located off West Coast, it's your typical fuck!-I-need-to-have-a-car kinda place.

The decor is simple, but oozes a touch of class. Service was excellent and the choice of music was... well, very Italian. (No. There wasn't any opera music. No Andrea Bocelli.) They have a wide variety of pasta and pizzas. Never knew there are 'white pizzas' though.

The missus had an Carbonara, and I a Marinara. Shared a pisa pizza. Seafood's fresh and was abundant. The pasta was 'thicker and fuller' than what we would normally have. Excellent taste. Would be great if we had wine. But key word: budget.

If you ever want to head to Pasta Fresca, note that pasta are chargeable. At $5.10 for each choice of pasta. That is on top of the main course you have. A little more pricer but... well, as long as the missus is happy.
