Birthday Party
The food was good, but the recital of pledge before commencement of breakfast kinda gave me the bumps. Everyone was complaining how full and sleepy they were after that. I had 3 servings k! The otak, murtabak and prata were fantastic. But think the Secret Recipe cake that Jen, the VP, bought was the ultimate.
Jasmine had introduced me to Instant message via Lotus Notes. Kinda cool, like MSN, just that you have to know the full name of the person before you can add him. So I was chatting with Gwen, who has now become my lunch buddy.
Back at office, I was handling cases. Kinda busy yesterday but felt good to be back. But my shoulders were aching badly and I was screaming inside me. Kept complaining to Jasmine and Gwen. The only consolation I had was I went home at 5.
Went to Gerrie's place after sending Dad home. Had dinner and watch a 'lil telly. We stood at her balcony and watched the fireworks. Was really good. Apologies to KB. Ended up we aren't able to watch it together again.
Went back to Can Cafe for drinks. The panadol, medicated plaster and much massaging haven't really helped in ridding the ache. Bumped into Dion, BRAVO's ex-officer. Now a designer. Sounds pretty cool. Remembered how we just talk cock during exercises with Kai Loon.
Back at Gerrie's place, we watched more telly before going to sleep. Ended up not sleeping and Gerrie gave me a massage. I felt so blessed to have her.
At 4:30, we reached the airport and had breakfast. Not long after, we bidded goodbye. She entered the departure hall without looking back.
Well well, as long as she's safe.
Flags are flying high today.
