Furious Sunday

Whilst waiting for someone to show us to the table, I was browsing through their Valentine's Day catalog. One slice of cake can go up to $18. With that money, you prolly can get a mid-size cake!
Thomas called me the other day for directions. But I thought it's a big mistake to buy a 'LV lock and key' cake. Especially on a 21st birthday. 'Cus I wouldn't want to remember my 21st birthday having that design. I mean, how special can you feel having a 3D LV? It's kinda superficial.
If I am a girl, I would want a two-tiered cake, with at least 70% dark chocolate. That would surely make any girl melt and feel so damn princessy on her birthday. Oh well, individual preferences.

This time round, Canele hangs proudly its achievements. Aren't those pink boxes pretty? I totally can imagine my two-tiered cake now. But wtf. Which guy would ever receive a pretty cake? Get me a LV bag anytime.

I skipped breakfast and lunch to have cakes and was definitely worth it. The next time I'm there again, I would want to try the chocoliest of all chocolate cakes. And their earl grey are tops.
3 slices of cakes + 2 pots of tea = $30

Arite. Enuff of cakes. On a happier note, RL, Polo Jeans, Tommy H., C. Benetton are having sale. Fine. I didn't get anything for myself, though I got mom one.

The three of us headed to ECP where the girls went to tapao satay and chicken wings. And we literally sped home for dinner. The smell of the satay was overpowering and I was famished. (But the smell lingered while I drove back home later on. Sianz.)

To complete dinner, Shanti made soup, fried some vegetables, fish and chicken wings and everyone got a bowl of soup. Lovely.

Let's talk about cars now.

After washing the car at Gerrie's carpark, I was heading home and thought I should give her a call. I parked at the roadside and wanted to see if she and KB wants to go for some wine. Half-way talking to her, a white Sonata hit the front bumper. Fucking spoilt my day.

That guy paid $100 and everything was settled. I went to the Shell nearby my place, pumped the tires, filled up the tank and did a little touch up to the scratch. I already have the intention to have Blackathy's front and rear bumper sprayed and that $100 would help cover a little. But still... the feeling of being hit sucks.

See how low Blackathy goes.
Last night, I test drove Guoliang's Altis. It surprises me! The pick-up was really quick and the ride's smooth and quiet. Well, too bad I'm not a full-time staff. Else I could get preferential rate and pay for an Altis $388 a month.
The petrol bill is killing me already. Oh well, next time then.
