Shootz

Thanks to WK's Citi card, I got extra discount for petrol. Bills are killing me, and that few percent off meant everything. Went to pick Gerrie up from church. Think I'm slowly making friends with the uncles there. I am so kaypoh can. Nothing to do, so chat up with those ah peks.

I can be such a road idiot, missed Kelantan Road, ended up in 'Lil India and then decided to lunch at Aljunied. There's this old school kopitiam that serves really good dim sum. But little did I know this meal filled me up the entire day.

I thought mom wanted me to buy her a Canon, so I asked Gerrie to accompany me. Knowing there would be terrible jams, we still decided to brave the known. Cars are littered everywhere and some even parked as far as at the Changi Business Park.

I was lucky and parked slightly away from the train station and we followed the crowd towards Expo. I wonder what the design at Expo train station is trying to convey. Maybe Eastern people are from Mars.

Person over the mike: Welcome to Mars. Locals, please keep to the left of the staircase. Aliens, please register yourselves at the counter. Thank you. Tweet tweet.

*Tweet tweet -> Have a nice day.

K, made that up. 'Cus it sounded quite cute.

The crowd there was horrible. When we got inside, flyers were littered everywhere. Sigh. People can be so inconsiderate. Then there are people who decided the floor wasn't dirty enuff and wanted to join in the fun.

Step on us! Step on us!

It was only when I called mom to confirm what model she wanted, then did I realised she just wanted to check out the price of Canon EOS. -.-

Didn't want to make it a wasted trip, so I asked Gerrie if she wanted a camera. We then did a little shopping around, with 50ny, Panas0nic, Can0n, 0lympus and Casi0 on our list.

With the combination of playing with the cameras, and enlisting advice from cyj,and WK (who works at 50ny and is going back to China to solve the glitches in the production of PS3), we narrowed our choices down to 5ony and Panas0nic.

We ended choosing Panas0nic Lumix FX07. Comes in standard package, a big camera carrying bag, cleaning kt, mini tripod, memory card wallet, screen protector and 2 X 1GB memory stick. All at S$650.

Lumix shoots further and sharper. We got the black one and I thought the feel is the best among all. Something like my V3X.

If Suntec was considered empty, Millenia Walk was deserted. Starbucks only had 1 customer. Who happily sat down at the couch without buying any drink. Both of us prefered to settle down at TCC.

We immersed ourselves in magazines and newspaper, but I enjoyed the silent company.

Good night.

I love work. I love work. I love work. I'm looking forward to tomorrow. Please come quicker. I love to stare at my favourite Dell monitor.

Right.
