Sorry. But I can't resist taking a picture of the cheapest meal I ever had for the longest time. Just yesterday, before meeting my group mates for a project discussion, I had dinner alone at Golden Shoe. Cost me only $2.30. Exciting!

How could anyone not love Raffles Place?

Drinks were at Archipelago, though David didn't join us. The place was rather pleasant and provided a classy touch. First introduced by Jasmine, it's really easy to warm up to the atmosphere, though the drinks are priced rather high. They brew their beer there, which may take some sips to get used to the taste.

Gerrie joined us after she knocked off at 10. Though it's less than an hour, at least I got to see her. =)

Talking about school, I could have gotten a free pack of condoms. But then again, I would have no use for it. Oh well...

Lunch was at this 'lil spanky clean kebab place. Food was not bad, but leaning towards the dry side. So much for saving money. Once again, my lunch cost $10. Sigh... if this goes on, I'm going bankrupt soon.

I have been surviving on 5 hours of sleep ever since I have started working last year. I was pratically yawning away this morning. And I was worried I would collapse on my table after a heavy lunch, and thus I got myself a can of coffee. Something I don't drink often.

Over lunch, we were talking about saving money. I had dropped by Std Chart to find out about their Xtra Savings a/c. It is a must-have a/c for those who drives, or at least for those who pay for petrol. I wouldn't have called it a savings a/c, rather a current a/c, which gives you a debit card, as well as cheque books. Interest rate may not be high, but you get rebates from using its debit card on petrol and when you have Nets transaction. But it's only worth it if you have at least S$6000 in it.

Roz opened an e-Savers a/c this afternoon. It does not give you a debit card or passbook but it allows you to view your e-statement online. If you need cash, you can transfer to your existing a/cs, or withdraw over its a/c (but you incur $5 charge). Else link it to the X-tra Savings a/c.

With 1.88% interest rate, how could you not love it? It's much better than time deposits, though it does give you alot of inconveniences.

Want to make sure you save religiously? Try 0CBC's Monthly Savings a/c. It forces you to save a particular sum of money every month. The downside? You must have a savings/ current a/c with 'em. And the interests may lose to Std Chart by a tiny margin.

Want earn a little petty cash? Click here. Introduced by Shanice, it gives you cash for reading emails.

Well well, got to go back to AEC project.

Missing you, Sweetheart!
