Ang Moh Speak Singlish

I was at Selegie buying lunch for Jasmine at this Turkish kehab store. This Chinese was sitting at the counter and when he finished his meal, he gave two thumbs up to the Turkish owner and said, "This is good! I'm from Europe and had eaten kehab in Europe."


The Turk shrugged, "Well, I wouldn't be surprised. There are more than 10 million Turks in Europe."


When the man left, the Turk said to me, "I don't understand why that guy told me he's from Europe. Why can't he say, 'I'm proud to be Chinese!'?"


Come 7 hours later, I would be meeting my group for project discussion. I would be holding a focus group on Tuesday. If you would like to join this focus group, kindly let me know.
