Monday Blues No More

After two weeks break from work, I was afraid of the amount of LNs I had to clear. I had initially wanted to go work a little earlier to clear 'em, but I had a lack of sleep the previous night due to NM project, which turned out to be quite rubbish.

As I was walking towards the building, I saw Jasmine. A familiar face. I went up to her and she slapped my arm. Familiar behaviour. It's good to be back.

The Bank continued to its branding. Last month, it celebrated "Fair".

A polo tee was given to each and everyone of us. It bore the signature of a local golf pro, with the Bank's logo on the sleeve. I found mine on my desk this morning. The number of LNs was horrendous alright, but boss was nice enough to give me an hour to clear 'em.

One of the LNs was that the Bank would celebrate 'Friendly' this month and each would get a balloon.

Aren't they cute?

The bright yellow faces livened the entire office, together with the Christmas decorations.

We are friendly people alright.

Really friendly.

The third surprise of the day....

Ice-cream from Meng Ch00. =)

It had been such a loooong time I had Ben & Jerry's.

Just last year, I led a team to organise a Christmas party for the Logistics department in PIL. This year, I was appointed as a member to organise a Christmas party for the 0ps Supp0rt.

This is the first time such a committee was set up, which had a total of 6 members. We did some last-minute shopping, planning and decorating the chill-out room. The Christmas tree was set up, room decorated, balloons blown, door gifts wrapped, food thrown in, Christmas songs playing and we were all ready for the party.

Not really....

It's the wine that would get the party started. We had prepared bottles of red wine and chocolates as door gifts as well. The games played didn't really go that well. But the prizes made up for it. And the food Yuet Kuan catered was sooooo good! Ooh, I simply love the turkey my VP made.

It's out of the world!
