Tuesday With Gerrie

Boss had been away for the past 2 days, and Liz has to take over to assign cases to all of us. With Phyllis on leave, that took away 2 headcounts. Cases had increased significantly.

Gerrie had a bad day in the office as well. And I thought hard and long on how to make her happy. After all, she said I don't know how to pamper her. Then, I had the most perfect idea!

I shall bring her to the Big Apple!

We would wear the tacky 'I Love NY!' tees, walk from 40th Street up to Central Park, visit Madison Square and have breakfast at Tiffany erm.... DKNY.

Who can ever reject the idea of visiting New York? I was thinking to myself that would really make Gerrie so happy. It would be so much fun!

But how to afford the expenditures when I have to wait for 60% discount to buy dkny?

So, we changed plans.

We went to New York, New York.

Many times we passed this place and wanted to try their waffles. We have seen children q-ing up for its green candy floss. This restaurant would be one of the 'must-try' places for everyone.

Truth is Gerrie and I were thinking where to have our dinner. She suggested New York, New York and I was agreeable to it.

After all, at the end of the day, I managed to capture the Empire State Building at the background. =)

Anyway, I was sooooooooooooo...... hungry I could eat grass like a horse. K wait, did I get that wrong?

*once again, I managed to act like a himbo*

Talking about grass, look at the stem of the bouquet? Isn't it so nice?

The wild flowers and beads made the roses stand out. Thanks to Daniel (& Donny) and Eddy that the delivery man managed to reach Gerrie.

Right. About the food...

I had half roasted chicken; Gerrie fish & chips.

The chicken tasted much better than Kenny Roger's. And the wedges were so good! Gerrie's portion wasn't small as well. Coupled that with a glass of root beer float and a touch of New York, we were satisfied.

Tomorrow's the Presentation Day! And coming up, my birthday.

I hate exams. Good bye New York.

A misfortunate incident.
