When the Nati0n Calls...
I am always there.
Ok, maybe not so willingly.
Anticipating a m0b0lization @ 12, I left the house at about 1150h. While loading the SB0, field-pack and whatnots into Blackathy, the call came. Boon Wee was still rushing home from work, thus I was left with quite some time. I went to the nearest SPC for a wash, which has extended its promo @ $3 for a wash.
By the time I reached Yishun, Boon Wee was not yet ready. He can be such a princess sometimes. Lolx. So I decided to take a walk and managed to chat up with this girl. She gave me her name and her number and ensured me she would give me call.
I was nearing c@mp with Boon Wee when Peggy called, as promised. I reassured her I would visit her again that day.
There wasn't much a crowd, compared to the m0b brief held just last month. Administrative work was done pretty quickly, though there was slight confusion initially. Many of us were posted to 'Excess'. KNS.
Boon Wee had a little time to spare for me, so he accompanied me to visit Peggy again. While I was attended by her, Boon Wee was talking to this pretty lady with the tag "Trainee". I got happy for awhile, asking her "Since you know him, can give me staff discount anot?"
Pity there was none. =( I walked away with 2 bags, pretty much a poor man.
Gerrie's parents had recently changed their store's location and I thought I could help out abit. You know, manual labor. The new store was sited along a busy road and I believe business would be even better than the previous store. Mom need no help from me, so we headed back to her place. Had a quick shower and Shanti whipped up two bowls of noodles before we left for 0rchard.
As we travelled down and amidst our conversation, I took out a box from my pants and told her it's for her. She's now the owner of an Eternity ring, with 6 diamonds. It was such a pity though that Peggy wasn't able to find for me the one Jasmine had: 18 diamonds in 2 rows. Nevertheless, this ring is from the premiere range and would have full value guarantee for the next two years.
The Eternity has now joined the collection Gerrie had received from me. But she didn't really respond the same way when I gave her the solitaire diamond.
The other bag that Peggy gave to me is the scope to view the diamonds, as well as a jewellery box. Thought that was really nice.
We went shopping again, with her aiming for soliatire ear-rings and a piece of Coach. But those have to wait when her bonus arrive. Dinner was consumed hastily and we rushed for our picture. I just realised Cathay is cheaper than GV. It's $9 per tix when you book online (it's even cheaper if you watch it at Causeway Point). But that's not all! It's only when I signed on the bill that I realised there was a further 12% discount. I got 2 tix at $16.30 only.
Music and Lyrics is good. I still love Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore. Kristen Johnston, from "3rd Rock From The Sun" is also looking fab, though she's of a bigger size. Haley Bennett, who acts as Cora Corman, is sexy, with her dance moves and she's in the process of recording her first album. This is her film debut.
The soundtrack comprises mainly Hugh Grant's tracks. He also did it with Drew Barrymore and Haley Bennett (that sounded quite wrong though).
