First Paper

With 4 hours of sleep, I wok up at 6 to do a last minute study on the chapters we were told to focus. I thought I would leave them at the very last minute as I had gone through them in the mid-term exam.

Last minute it was. I reached the institution at 8ish and cramp it in. I tried to look as calm as I could but I was feeling the fatigue and the desperation. In the room, I scanned through the MCQs and when the exam commenced, I went straight for the short answers. I did not remember all the terms and had to give numerous examples to make up for it.

The 2 hours went by quickly. Too quickly in fact. Words about the exam were exchanged. But the hunger in the stomach was overpowering. We headed to the nearest coffeeshop for our lunch.

The power nap I took at Gerrie's place felt good. I had wanted to start my revision for Monday paper but ended up giving a whole new meaning to 'studying by heart'.

Indeed.

We headed to Orchard, undeterred by the rain. Town wasn't packed at all. Guess the people were tired from shopping on Friday or had decided to stay indoors.

Found a shirt that I liked, but having to spend $150 on a weekend shirt made me reconsidered. I may get it after all. Shall give myself a one week grace.

Dinner was at a Thai place. Had wanted to go for Mongolian but I still can feel the lunch effect. I was afraid of tummy runs and didn't suggest to go for Financial Night.

Besides, she wants me to study.

Arite then. I shall leave you with these two words.

Good night.
