Keep Chasing

Gerrie started her core leave today and would be enjoying 2 weeks off. She came down to my workplace and the visit gave me a surprise and everything turned out to be impromptu. We managed to get tickets to 'Meet The Robinsons' and left ten minutes to grab dinner. I struggled with my burger (not enough!), even though I have wolfed down a piece of bread, rasins, two tiny slices of cake and a Vitasoy. *Oops*
Meet The Robinsons was really funny. Almost too impossible, but it played up every child's imagination and ambition to become successful. But as we age, it becomes clearer that the future is quite uncertain. Most of us are no longer able to realise what we have envisioned or what has been mapped out in our almost invisible 5 year plan.
What's your dream?
Share with me what you have always dreamed of. Of things you always wanted, or of someone who have always wanted to become.
Rice has wanted to be a dj. Gerrie and I watched him in the semi-finals yesterday and I found him good. His voice was really dj-like and I'm sure I could never do as well as he did.
The bank is organising a 'Wall of Dreams', which would gather Singap0reans' dreams in a 17m long structure. You would be able to see this Wall at Taka on the first weekend in May. In fact, you are able to view the dreams of many others now at its website. The little red dots represent the dreams.
Like what the trailer has said, everyone on this planet has a dream. The question is how far are you willing to go to make it come true.
Please share with me your dreams and leave them at the tag-board. Tell me what kinda job you want to have, places you want to go, your retirement plans or even the things you always wanted to buy.
Anything. After all, it's your dream.
