Money

Yet another boring post, but I need to sort things out. Too many payments to be made.


1. Funds
2. Hotel & air tickets
3. Trip itself
4. School fees
5. Specs


Of all places, I made my new glasses at Parkway Parade. I was there this evening with Gerrie after staying behind at her parent's store. This guy was telling me how the focal point of my present lens is way too off, and that the degree was over-powered, causing strain to the muscles of the eyes. He corrected the lens in half an hour and that alone was $90. All in all, my new Hugo specs cost me more than five hundred. And there's the additional cost of having to go back there next week to collect it. Sianz.


I was back in the office in the morning to meet HR. A contract was signed. Few hours later, a local bank called to offer an interview for a private banker trainee appointment.


We shall see how things go.
