Talk To Me

I chose it over 'Service and Retailing' because I do not see the value in the latter. I thought Cultures, New Media and Communications would give insight on how different cultures relate to the type of media and how information can be communicated to you and me.
And it would look really nice on the cert, with the additional liner 'Minor in Communications'.
But this module isn't really about cultures per se. Rather, it emphasizes on presentation skills, be it verbally or written. The class tonight allowed us to present in small groups. It gave us a chance to reiterate what we have learnt during those 2 years. The hands, the body, the tone, the speed...
And then it gave us the chance to listen to what people think of your presentation skills. It took on a different learning perspective and I thought it was some cool shit. Yet, I dread the day we have to design 2 images, based on a given quote, show it to the class and give a 7-minute presentation on a individual basis.
How do you ever spend 7 minutes talking about 2 images?
I don't even spend that long talking about myself. *Laughs*
In any case, I'm suddenly motivated to wake up at 7:30 and go school tomorrow. Looking forward to my Burger King breakfast. Had been having lousy dinners for the past 2 evenings.
Work had been pretty shitty, but I choose to leave it behind the moment I step out of office. I guess the doctor's right. My asthma was triggered by stress.
I think people really need to talk. To get your feelings out. Many of us are afraid to do so. Especially when put in a difficult situation.
My stand is, just talk it aloud.
Else, one day you end up like shit like the video below.
Peace.
