Sunny Sunday
Many times we walked past this salon, but I haven't really took notice of it. From outside, the place looked really chic. I walked into the salon and was asked to fill in my particulars. The only thing I checked out on the price list was the haircut.
S$75.
That's alot of money we are talking about.

I was quickly settled down and began reading my book as the stylish wasn't ready yet. About ten minutes later, he came over and studied my hair and I was then whisked for a hair wash. The girl who did it for me was thorough and I loved the massage.
The stylist and I didn't have much to say, which was weird. Most stylists would chat up with their customers, but this time I was left undisturbed. He was quick though, with the hair done in half an hour. I was then whisked for another hair rinse.
Hair blown and wax slapped.
And there I was, out of the salon.
The service was not bad, at least they made every customer felt important. There was this tai-tai who was attended by 3 persons. 2 doing her hair, and another one kneeling down doing her nails. The last time I looked into the mirror, that girl was massaging that tai-tai's hands.

After my haircut, I was roaming around MW. I didn't know what time Gerrie would be coming over and where to meet her. The problem was I had forgotten to bring my handphone. Immediately, I saw a sign 'Public Telephones' and walked towards it but couldn't find any.
They must have taken them out, I thought.
I continued walking till I saw another sign. And there they were.... in full grandeur...

Pay phones!!!
Then again, so sia suay to use can. Heng the pay phones are hidden at one corner.
Lol.
