I Can Only Imagine

A story of a man who 'battled' through an Iron Man challenge together with his handicapped son. The video displayed a love story of a father's to give his son a better life. A life that transcends the physical ability of his son.
Then I began to concentrate on the lyrics.
Suddenly I felt so broken. The Father provides but I took everything for granted and even pursue the wrong things in life. Have been feeling emo these days. Being insecure about the future, even though I am offered a new job and just gotten the degree. I worry about not being able to pay off the credit card bills, worry about how things will turn out, and even think how people view me when they are doctors and all...
The MTV
But this song made me realised I'm focusing on the wrong things. Things that I had placed too much emphasis on. I felt so broken yet filled with love and warmth at the same time. I love this song so much that I could just listen to it the whole night.
The lyrics.
Below is a video of Dick Hoyt's love for his son, Rick.
I can only imagine our Father's love.
If Dick can do all these for his son, imagine what our Father can do for us.
I can only imagine what it will be like, when I walk by Your side...
I can only imagine, what my eyes will see, when Your Face is before me!
I can only imagine.
Surrounded by Your Glory, what will my heart feel?
Will I dance for you, Jesus? Or in awe of You, be still?
Will I stand in Your presence, or to my knees will I fall?
Will I sing 'Hallelujah!'? Will I be able to speak at all?
I can only imagine! I can only imagine!
I can only imagine, when that day comes, when I find myself standing in the Sun!
I can only imagine, when all I will do, is forever, forever worship You!
I can only imagine! I can only imagine!
