The Week
It was quite painful to go through this week. CNY has left me with more tiredness, despite the 2 days off from work. In fact, it has taken a toll on me and the after-effects had been horrible.
Despite that, it was nice to spend an evening at Shar0n's place with the other girls for dinner.
Had another dinner with the rest of the branch on the following evening.
Me & some of the girlies.There hasn't been much hype over this year's Valentine's. But preparation was done, in fact, in mid Jan.
On that day, I was left alone in the branch and had to service 4 cu5t0mers c0ncurrently, but was glad it was manageable. I even had time to sneak out to get some of the girls a rose each.
When the evening came, I picked Gerrie up from BV and brought her to my workplace. We couldn't get a place at Swiss0tel, and I wanted to avoid the crowd in town. So Weiner Kaffeehaus was the best choice.
I had 2 glasses of reds.
Accompanied by tomato soup. Side dishes include blue cheese.
I didn't like blue cheese the moment some girls made us had some at WK's wedding. I didn't like blue cheese in my pizza, like the one served in Alley Bar.
But the blue cheese at Weiner Kaffeehaus was nice. Especially when it's down with reds.
Then came the grapefruit salad.
And our half cow. The steak was excellent, but we wished it had come in a bigger portion.
Last bit... deserts.
And since Gerrie couldn't take any red that evening, she had a cuppa Black Keys.
Conclusion: Austri@n food is thumbs up!
We celebrated HX's birthday the very nxt day.
On Sat itself, branch h0urs are as usual. Then ran to 2 appts, before going to Pe@rly's place. I'm beat. Spent the rest of the evening watching 'License To Wed'.
Great. Now I only have Sunday left to rest.
