Phuket
Met Gerrie on Tues night at her place for dinner, before watching Definitely, Baby. I thought it was a really good picture. =)
Spent that night at her place and without catching much sleep, her dad sent us to the airport at 6ish.
The plane took us right to Phuket. We were there exactly one year ago, and we thought it was enjoyable, thus the same destination.
Once we stepped out of the airport, we took a mini-bus, shared with 10 others. The journey took 1 hour before we could reach Royal Paradise.
It was still early to check-in, so we left our bags at the lobby and went for lunch at Jungceylon, as well as to get some drinks from Carrefour.
Upon checking-in, we freshened up and decided to go to Central. We took their local bus and alighted at Phuket Town.
Like last year, we spent most of our time at Jungceylon. But what was different this time was we didn't had our meals at budget places, like Number 6. Instead, we decided to go to Le Siam.
The restaurant's atmosphere was great, which puts you into a relaxed mood very quickly. It does what it promises: to create a fine dining experience.
Gerrie and her coconut drink.
My lime juice.
We ordered green curry, which was absolutely fantastic!
My pineapple rice.
And her noodles.
Next morning, after our breakfast, we went to the pool for a tan.
Which turned out to be a really painful experience.
We then went to take a stroll and the weather was so hot, we decided to have some Basket Robbins.
The stroll then took us to the Patong Beach, and it held a magnificent view, coupled with the strong wind and waves. Amazing.
In the evening, Gerrie went to her appointment at Let's Relax, a massage place. The foot massage would take an approx. 45mins, so I hit the road alone. I walked the other way, a route we had not taken before. I stopped when I saw Coffee World.
I ordered a Mocha Frap to go. Great stuff.
Another thing to eat was the chicken from the roadside stall. Just eat and ignore the cooking process.
After getting her massage done, we went to Good Seafood.
BBQ prawns fried with garlic
Assorted veggie
And steamed fish
I would like to sum up our trip asap, as the downloading of the photos are taking too much time. The sunburnt effect is horrible. It pains even when I was driving home today as the sunrays touched the skin.
Am going to put my mask and apply some aloe vera now.
It's the start of another month again. Have to work hard!
Nights. $$

Happy 2nd Anniversary, Dear. All the best in your new job tml!
